Whereas 'The Boosh' raiding Vic and Bob's rejected ideas pile is creative?
The Mighty Boosh. Comedy by Students, for Students, enjoyed by those who tragically lost their sense of humour

Albatross wrote:I like Nick Frost and Kevin Eldon as much as the next man, but talk about formulaic - there is more creativity in one episode of The Boosh than an entire series of Hyperdrive.
Next you'll be saying you watch 'My Family'....
Hyperdrive was all about Kevin Eldon, he stole every scene he was in. I was hoping for 'Yes Minister' in space but Kevin Eldon aside it was toss. My family is Robert Lindsay's worst sitcom.

Hmm. Hang on, you're talking about Hyperdrive in a Red Dwarf thread!
Wow.
Just because Vic and Bob are surreal and there are elements of surrealism in the Boosh, doesn't mean they ripped them off. There really isn't much similarity. And 'Vic Reeves Big Night Out' isn't student comedy? Talk silly.

Dwarf does get better. Middles series are the best. Black adderers are all good, first is the poorest though. Black Adder goes Forth is my favourite and has a fitting ending too. Fawlty Towers is a really good laugh. Do like the IT Crowd too. British comedy either seems really good or cringeworthily bad. Watched a program that was supposedly comedy the other night, what i though was an hour turned out to be 30 minutes of absolute depressing rubbish. 30 year olds acting like their teenagers with no brains. Didn't do anything for me.
