Mine was simply called cat.

It was what it was.

There are a fair few cat-haters on here though.
Maybe they were mauled by cats in their infancy - or they just prefer the company of attention-whores like puppies.

My family usually gives our animals human names, ie, Ronny, Jack, Clyde, Raleigh etc.

The last three cats I've had were named, Velcro,Woomblie and Thud.
Velcro-because he followed me every place I went when he was a kitten.
Thud-because we found him ( as a kitten) stuck in the top of a tree...and he fell out.
Woomblie-Because I was trying to say " Look how wobbily that cat walks",but I was drunk.
My point is,the cats name will just "happen" in most cases.

ive had cats named Grunion, Stinker, Ogre, Lilly, Setai, Rascal, Razz, Pouch, and a few others i cant remember at the momment. oh ya, and at least 2 called Cat.
(can you guess their personalities?)
