Not dating but my only claim to fame is something my mum seems to love announcing whenever i have girlfriends over (before i can drag them into my room).
Apparently back when she was in her late teens she was close friends with a woman whose father managed bands for a living and so my mum got to meet quite a few of the bands this womans father managed, one of them was a young duran duran and lets just say things got a little heated 
Talk about embarressing things for your mum to say...

I once was walking down Preston High Street (somewhere north of Liverpool) and a Rolls Royce went past with the Queen of England inside. She was visiting some kind of cheese factory I think...
Somehow I had gotten onto the wrong side of the road, most of the rest of the people who had come out to see her were behind a fenced area. Because I didn't know WTF was going on at the time, I managed to wander within a few metres of her car  Police outriders gave me some very stern looks...

My pa and I said Hi to Gene Simmons when we went to Universal Studios about ten years ago. I can't remember what part of the park it was though. My buddy also called Paris Hilton a "Knob-gag" when he went down to LA with his pa' on vacation. I would've killed for that opportunity myself.
