I guess that depends on how hot the girl is and good the sex is.

Turn the lights off and they all look the same.

Only when you turn them upside down...

But there's more to looks, which is why I also qualified the quality of the sex.

Kinda like the how we talk about the quality of Generalship separate from Painting.

Traitor? What is this, a cult? They're just little plastic men.

Personally, I would not sell them because mine have some sentimental value, and I have a large house with enormous amounts of storage, so no problem there.

If you're not as sentimental as I, keep in mind that if you sell your models now and then come back in a few years, there may be new/better models available, or metal ones now available in plastic, etc etc. Definitely a consideration if you might not play again for 5+ years.

No treason here, citizen.

Report to Sector 11 for a mind-scrub anyway.

Marriage does not preclude the mandollies.
It keeps you out of strip clubs - and that will generally be worth more brownie points with the mrs.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Actually, today is our one year, were going to a strip club lol. She's fine with my putting money into the plasticrack once we get our own house, so for the next few months I'm stuck with Vassal or playing with my frinds IG. Worthy sacrifice though, since ourcurrent place is so small I dont even have a place to paint. Get a house, I'll have an entire room to use for modeling. I just got the cold shoulder from some of the people at my FLGS at first because they thought I was just gonna abandon them and move on, like the kid that gets popular in high school and ignores his old friends.

My hobbying virtually ground to a halt when at University. Unless you're particularly desperate for the money, perhaps you should pack the stuff away for the time being. You don't want to regret selling it all later.

This is true too. I very rarely got chances to do much painting or playing at uni, and now that I've got a job as a summer student and mild insomnia, I never get around to painting anything nowadays either. But it's always good to have options for when you do want to come back.

I sold my collection of MTG cards in 2000 when my wife and I got married for similar reasons, stupidest decision ever, a few years later my brother in law got into the game and I started looking at putting my collection( or deck at least ) back together, sold deck-$2000, rebuild same-$5800 minimum. Its always harder to and more expensive to get back into a game than to just find another way!

Oh no, you might stop playing with toy soldiers for a while! How dare you! That's like saying that action figures are not the coolest thing ever! jeez, man, just enjoy the game, if you're not enjoying it, stop playing for a while, then play when you can!

I sure hope you didn't invest your new-found MtG cash in Tech stocks at the time...

FWIW, I haven't picked up a deck in the better part of a decade. But I knew never to sell the cards, because it's a royal PitA buying back. Maybe I'll re-start again, later. Maybe not. At least I always have the option.
