I had a couple nobs charge my fire warriors in a game once, i lost a few and saved a few. struck back and actually took down the nobs.

It amused me :3

My unit of Stealth Suits were charged by a Demon Prince and lost but what was handy was that it left the Prince in the middle of an open area with 2 crisis suit units and 2 Fire Warrior units in rapid fire range, he died, very quickly.

Just because Tau don't do well in Close Combat, specially when they can be used to tempt slightly stupid players into charging into the open infront of your very horribly shooty gun line.

I charged a squad of Firewarriors with a 1W Bloodcrusher, managing to wipe out 4 of them. The last Firewarrior proceeded to take the last wound off the Bloodcrusher.

Damn it.

I had a squad of scorpions and exarch lose combat to broadside battlesuits. o_O
Damn those saves.
I have yet to see anyone lose to fire warriors though. But then our local Tau player isn't super lucky.

I've had a lone Justicar charge a squad of Fire Warriors, miss every single attack, and then get slaughtered, but it was one against 10, so I wasn't expecting much.

No, but my Ork Warboss and his 10-man Nib Retinue got beaten by a squad of drones.

Played my deathwing against a tau army. In one turn my librarian charged a 10 man fire warrior team and my five man terminator command squad charged 5 vespid.

Lost the librarian after he killed 1 fire warrior, and I lost 3 terminators to the vespid, proceeded to kill nothing, and lost the last 2 to drag down. The next shooting phase I lost 4 out of 5 in another squad to 5 burstcannon wounds from stealth suits.

I've lost one or two CC's with firewarriors. Roll enough dice and eventually, it'll happen.

What always impressed me was the CC skill (lol) of Drones, and especially Crisis Suits.

Guy yesterday at my LGS lost Gaz in combat to 10 fire warriors, in one round.

Worst one I saw was the the local GW store, the guy was playing last edition chaos and charged an untouched bloodthirster into a unit of 10 firewarriors and 2 drones. Rolled all ones to hit and proceeded to die when they rolled back with 8 wounds. His face was priceless.

Somewhere in the Warp, Lion El'Jonson facepalmed when my DW Terminators charged a squad of Fire Warriors back in December...and whiffed all 20 some of their attacks/wounds with LC's. >.<

However, I did play a game where my Guardsmen charged a group of Flayed Ones and a Necron Lord in CC, through cover, despite being outnumbered 6 to 10-ish. Hilarious thing? The Guardsmen win, easily making their points back several times.

Saw my demon prince killed by kroot....MoK and everything. On a good roll he got 2 hits out of 5. Rolled like garbage. Had to throw Kharn in there to clean up the mess -.-
