Thanks for the ideas
I tyred a few Extra bits such as the red capes and thr results were impressive
I should be starting them on saturday (13th Jan) with my undercoat spray The previous models shown were dine without black spray which may explain the bad coverage, hopefully the british weather will hold out and the "heirs of sigismund"(proposed chapter name(Boring english lessons are easilly filled with imagination)) will be spreyed lol

Black Templars are clearly Teutonic knights (german crusaders), they always have names like Siegfried etc in fluff and their color scheme match the Teutonic one

The Black Templar colour scheme is based on the Order of St John also known as the Hospitaliers who were based in Jerusalem not France. The names do indeed seem to be Germanic in origin implying allusions to the Teutonic Knights who were founded in Acre, whilst the symbolism of the Chapter seems to be based on the French Order most commonly known as the Knights Templar.
