A PRO salesman perhaps. Those things are fairly average paint-wise. I could do better with a few days time. Crap like this makes me want to go back to painting fulltime.

The paintjobs aren't horrible, a little bit above standard table top quality.
But whatever illegal drugs the dude is on to think they are worth $60 EACH really needs to share.

People will pay more for a good product that's completely finished... but that price tag is over the top! I could see it going for close to that in dollars... but then again, tyranids are hot right now, so they're going to go for more.
There was a space hulk set that was painted and sold for $900 on ebay. I thought it was the best paint job I'd seen on them... but someone must have cash to burn to spend that much on it!
But to have these things commissioned is exorbitantly expensive- so buying a large army, even for hundreds over retail, actually saves you money over buying the army and then having it commissioned to be painted.
