The smurfs only win because Games Workshop promotes them too much. Notice how orks are currently second. that's because of assault on black reach. SM are only most popular because they have been in every single starter set!

then CSM and Eldar.

I actually expected daemons to be getting more votes than this because in the store I go to people always seem to have daemons, or be painting daemons.

Grey Knights are the most awsome army.
Why?
Because they are SPESS MARENEES with SUPA POWAS

I would like to make a disclaimer, that although I own a Dark Angels army I don't play them anymore, because of their current terrible codex
|
-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake. |

Yes! Chaos Daemons are the least popular. I always wanted to transition my CSM army to just Demons, and knowing they are the least popular DEFINITELY makes me want to.
Thanks for the good post. They really need to Sticky this one.

Started with Space Marines because a friend got me started on them, picked up some SOB for the hell of it, then switched to Guard when I realized that I really, really like making their armor.

I am a Spehss Mahreens player who is looking at going DH or Grey Knights. I always like the imperial fluff surrounding space marines and the inquisition that's why I play them.

Would be nice if they could sticky it. The more people who vote the more accurate the poll becomes and that was why I created this thread. So people could see what army's are least played as everyone already knows sm are the most popular.
I think it is very interesting daemons are so low and also how low de are. De were very popular a few years back. Where have all the de players gone?
Very interesting to see where sisters of battle are ranked aswell, I have never seen a complete sisters army :/
