2 things...

1. In the future... use white glue to attach the canopy. This is a trick from the historical/non-wargaming modelers. Yes, it takes forever to dry, but, there is not fogging.

2 if you can salvage the frame around it, as mentioned earlier, you can make new glass panes out of blister packaging. just cut them into shape and use white glue to attack them. You're talented, you chould be able to figure out how to cut them to the right shape.

Yay , this time it looks great.

I managed to separate the top for easy painting access
and the gunner are done right!

and canopy are right too!

@SonofRuss: That glue is for MAKING window panes, not gluing them. It uses the surface tension from the framing to hold itself in place until it sets and hardens (like a bubble film).



The instructions on my bottle say it is for both plane canopies or car windows and you can also use it to make windows (like bubble film)
It is called clear parts cement and window maker I don't think my camera can focus on the dinky letters or I would take a pic

K this isnt exactly necro...

I have bought new cockpit and new glue ( Model master plastic cement window maker )

the consistency of glue looks like yellowy PVA glue ,
but its not sticky.

The clear windows are slipping around the gray frame , what should i do?
And its still foggy lol
