Sorry I couldnt elp myself I got a laugh but I like the sleepy marines idea but I think narcolepsy marines would be better. Narcoleptic Marine falls in battle *Corrupt IG troop* woo I killed a SM! a whole group of corrupt IG soliders move past the marine a few minutes later he stands back up wait where'd they go? turns around and smiles as he opens fire on the corrupt IG soliders backs

i brought this up when someone was asking how to name marines and i said DA are like hebrew names. and i thought of this

A whole chapter wearing glasses and purity Quantum Mechanics hanging on their shoulder pads, sharp childlike voices, virgin moustaches and reaaaaaaally reaaaaaaaally afraid of anything that even remotely resembles female, going as far as being unable to do anything when around one.

Scientific calculators instead of Power Fists and plastic Jedi Swords instead of more traditional Power Swords.

Oh, and they all have to be ginger guys. Nerdarines would not be the same if they weren't ginger

Alright I once had this idea to make a type of imperial guardsmen that all wore vests and had muscles like the terminator and who were all really macho and bad ass and they all fought in the jungle and stuff and they had bandanas and they were so amazing that if they were veterans you could give the 4+ saves even though they are wearing tank tops! And they could all have furious charge and have sargeants carrying heavy bolters!


But I thought that was a bit too outrageous...

I have been working on Lord Anubis's Partol Detachement for years.

About nine years ago JT Scott had a Winter/holiday-themed Chaos Space Marines army. He had the following units modeled and painted to fit the theme. Note that all of these were also modeled with the proper weapons and equipment to be WYSIWYG.

Chaos Lord: Lord Stanley, modeled with ice skates, holding the Cup above his head.
2 CSM squads: Hockey teams, painted with red & blue markings, modeled with ice skates and hockey sticks.
Landraider: Modeled as a Zamboni with a driver on the back.
Havocs: Ice fishing, modeled sitting on benches with fishing poles, one holding up his catch for a photo.
Bloodletters: The old metal models with the sword held by their shoulder- the swords were clipped & replaced with red sacks full of presents, and the bloodletters were given santa hats.
Juggernauts: Evil reindeer, modeled with reindeer horns.

I would like to see the Ordo Idioticus. They root out the idiocy of mankind. They have a lot to do.

I've considered creating a chapter called the "Crimson Throats", who drive around in beat-up gas-guzzling Rhinos and stuff, but I haven't been able to come up with enough redneck jokes to put in yet.
