2. Love the imperium and wanted something different after building my Necrons up

4. After two shooting heavy armies I want to do an assualt based force and I don't have the money or room to build an ork or nid army. So thus it comes back to MATE

Right now I'm building a Tau force very slowly. I got into Tau because I love the look of them. I'm a huge Gundam fan so you can see why it appeals to me haha. I'd like to try my hand at Orks next. I love the degree of customization that they have and they are just such a funny army.

(1) Collecting and painting Night Lords, Imperial Guard, and finishing painting Dark Eldar.

(2) I like very mobile armies.

(3) Dark Eldar

(4) If the Dark Eldar got a new codex I wouldn't know what to do with myself. All of these rumors have got my hopes up. If there is a new release the Guard, and Night Lords will take a back seat as I go into a frezy of must have the new shiny!! I could easily see my Kabal jumping from 4500-10,000+ points

2: deepstriking Land raiders......Truth is, I am fond of new add-ons like the StormRaven and can't resist Space marines.

3: tend to add armys One at a Time.

As for myself, I'm tempted by armies that haven't been released yet. I'm terrified Jes Goodwin's Dark Eldar will be too gorgeous not to pick up. I can't wait till the Grey Knights book; I know I want to do a marine army because the new Legion of the Damned and Death Company kits are gorgeous, and would blend very well together, but I'm not really sold on the rules. They aren't weak by any means, in fact, they are probably the best special scenarios [city fight, planetstrike, et al] army there is, and have a lot of variety in how you can field them, but there's something missing. Hopefully the GK will come with a new plastic kit; blending that with the Angels and Legion kit would make for some very impressive Space Marine squads.

2)Seemed straightforward and simple to build, paint, and play with. Not to mention I didn't want to play the same armies as my friends, who bought Tau, Eldar, and Orks about a month before I had cash and was introduced to the hobby. They were also in Macragge, which was tempting...

1: i have a small force of them already.
2: if they fix a few things(firewarriors....AHHUUM) you could actually hold objectives and it would make them more fun to start playing again, for me anyways.

I (slowly) build and paint Guard. You know ... human grunts with guts and some pretty humongous armor.

The army started thanks to the Dawn of War Winter Assault game. And because they are underdogs and i have a soft spot for underdogs in a hostile Galaxy. Also Vostroyan Guard are beatiful.

Brettonians Yeah I know they are not 40k but i love the psycotic knights. On a 40k scale however Deathwing. Pure. With Dreads.

Terminator armour . Saving on a 2+? I 'll have three thank you...

Necrons or Nids...

I have 3 "good guy" armies, time for a bad guy.

1) Dark Angels
2) They are my favourite Power Armoured army and I really like the green paint scheme.

3) Imperial Guard
4) Because I love the looks of Vostroyans and Valhallans, and an armoured rifle company of Vostroyan or Valhallans really appeals to me.
