As a popcorn flick, the Resident Evil movies are "okay". At least they have some form of continuity and don't have drunk college kids suddenly becoming professional ninjas/badasses.

More than anyone can say regarding Uwe Boll's flicks

Incidently,the more I view Postal,the more I belive it just may be Uwe Bolls finest work...of course that isn't saying much.

Doh. They are supressing our gnerdraege. So I'm sure its on youtube but try and find the House of the Dead scene where they are going through the poorly hidden tunnel and he actually puts in scenes from the first game. Sega Saturn graphics and all. Theres also a big SEGA banner at one point in the movie. Biggest waste of time/money to promote an arcade game I already waste quarters on every week.

My buddy's father works in Boll's lighting crew, and I've been told just how much of a fething joke of a Director Boll is. He'll explain how he wants to set up the scene, do a few quick check-ups, and then wander off to the back and hop on MSN and occasonally glance over at the shoot. It's no wonder he's actually managed to produce so much terrible slop, he isn't even actually directing his own movies. But hey, what can you expect from a guy that thinks the best way to handle an insult against him or his films is to hold a boxing match?

Funny thing is, his dad's got the credentials and years of experience in the industry to be working anywhere he wants with anyone he chooses. Why that choice was Boll, I'll never understand. I do feel kinda sorry for him though

That boxing match was so awesome! Stupid, but awesome.

It's a shame, because if his movies were half as stupid but awesome as having boxing matches vs critics then the guy would have one hell of a cult following. Unfortunately his movies are just boring.

I think the thing to remember about 'He who's name is an anathema amongst the race of man' is that the German tax structure apparently makes it preferable to lose money on movies rather than make money. So...If, statistically speaking, someone is going to die a horrible, painful death.. does it really need to be some innocent kid in Africa?
