Alrighty, lots of work rebasing 30 guys, so first up heres a VDV/motor rifle platoon now all individually mounted

A QRF T-72BV

Mortars

Chechen insurgents for Ambush

the QRF Bradley which beats the hell out of the Quality Castings contender

and rebased US grunts

I've always loved Panzer gray, and wanted to paint some guys up in it, but ironically have found the concept a bit intimidating - given such a simple scheme I've always considered it difficult to execute well, but I finally sucked it up and gave it a shot, here are the results.

The ultra cute PZIII

And the obligatory group shot

I also decided to repaint the T-72BV to make it a bit more interesting

Love the tigers - they look just like you might find them in a museum.

Check out our new, fully plastic tabletop wargame - Maelstrom's Edge, made by Dakka!

Difficult at the present, I've sold alot of stuff from earlier in the thread, as I wanted to use bette rmodels (ie the Brads, M1s etc) Rest assured that when I've got a few platoons worth of stuff there will be a big army shot

Rebased the MI-26, this thing is a BEAST

a basic run of the mil Abrams-fodder...er T-72

Stock BMP-1

And the retouched based T-72BV/T-80 impostor

Wasn't happy with the afore mentioned BMP and T-72 so I decided to make them into generic East European Militia/insurgent fodder

Also have been discussing doing an ultra modern campaign based loosely on the Harvest Red campaign from Arma II

heres an ACU test I think turned out pretty nicely

And an M1 TUSK conversion

Chechen Guerrillas finished !

Army shot

I decided to spice the tanks up a bit and jewel the vision blocks

Command with Grail SAM

Cell 1

Cell 2

Cell 3

Sagger ATGM

Recoilless rifle

next up I need to finish the US army infantry, then on to the monolithic painting of the vehicles for both Soviets and US

Oh hay another update.

Expanded my Mid war krauts, with a new tiger

finished up a Panzer III platoon

3.7 AAA SPG platoon

and did a test for mid war grenadiers, so nice not to paint oakleaf

And now for some Soviets!

BMP-2D, the slightly less explodey version

T-80BV, the suck version. Sadly noone makes the hardass T-80UD in 15mm

T-72BV

And now for ones who need to be based

BTR-60 needs a dust

and a BMP-1 to transport the Spiggot teams
