So I've got a few more pictures. I haven't gotten any of my finished Fiend squad but most of my bitz are in and so I've finished building all of my troops and some more of my elites. Here ya go!

These are (from left to right) my Flamers, Bloodletters and Horrors

This is a closer view of my Flamers and Bloodletters

And this is a unit of horrors who are an escort for my "changeling". I decided to represent him I would use a battlefield hacker. I like the way he turned out and kept his backpack with a more transmitter look to it to make him stand out.

Hope you guys like it!

Lookin good! The paint job really makes it clear what it is. I love the flamer dong on the tech marine conversion, haha, my mind is in the gutter for sure, but that has to be the "it burns when I pee" gun!

As the OP said, the Daemon stats fit the idea of weird and wonderful augmented humans.

Btw,Hulksmash, awesome work. I find the idea behind it sheer genious. I look forward to seeing the whole line-up completely painted. I'm also intrigued with your custom bases. Any chance of a sneak preview?

@JDM

It's also because I do want the army to have a chance at winning and the ][ codexes aren't really that competitive. Also not to many neat units I can build except in the retinue

@Bash

Thanks man. Compliments keep the work moving And the entire army should be painted up by friday. I'm finishing building it tonight.

Very nice conversions. I'd have no problem playing against this army. Really like the daemon prince btw.

Looking good, although maybe there is something you could do to break up the Cadian-ness of the bits? Something to change the sillouette? The conversions are great but I think spreading the changes beyond grafting arms or legs alone would really take this to the next level if you understand my meaning.

Agreed with MajorTom11: If you de-Cadian-ize these guys they will be a lot more worth all the effort you've put into making them otherwise awesome. A headswap would probably be your best bet. Pig Iron heavy infantry helms would probably be you best bet, and nicely high-tech and dehumanizing. Very AdMech.

And btw, you've chosen a very interesting counts-as ruleset. This army would be a lot of fun to play against! Considering the daemonic deepstrike, if you ever construct a display board may I suggest a teleporter array, ready to zap your troops into battle?

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

very nice, the bloodletters look really cool, i would like a closer look at them, even if they arent painted yet. what parts did you use for them?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
i kinda like the cadian heads, but maybe a switch would be interesting, i kinda like the imperial feel the cadian parts give the models, while the unusual weapon layout and droids show how the army isnt just an IG army.

I enjoy seeing works such as this. Though, I have seen AdMech mroe commonly represented as Necrons or IG for the sake of WYSIWYG at tournaments.

I really need to update this with my more finished army. I've finished and painted everything except for the Chariots (Storms w/Tech Priests) and I haven't detailed the Princes yet but it's damn close to done.

@Avatarform

I just felt like I could play guard with my guard I also really didn't want another "power" list. This is my soft score tourney army. It should win 3-4 out of 5 but get almost perfect soft scores. As for WYSIWYG I think I did a pretty good job of showing what everyone is equipped with and what they are. But that is of course up to opinion

ive seen a ton of ADmec armies use demon codex for their count as rules. i think it works really well.

where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

These look really nice. Plus the counts-as units (all of them) make sense! Great work. The red on the Land speeders doesn't quite look right though, Its probably just the picture however!

ps, good luck at the tourney then!

Thanks Imp. Monkey

I wasn't really super happy with my Speeder either. That much red space made it come out a little more orange that I would have liked. My wife says they're fine but it's probably the OCD in me that says their slightly more orange than the other models!

So I'm thinking of adding to the army. I'll be building some "Seekers" out of old ork warbikes and cadian torso with chain swords and such as upgrades but I also wanted to add a Bloodthirster and I'm torn as to how to create one that fits within the theme. So on that note thoughts and ideas are welcome. I'll be posting up pictures of my Seekers as I work on them.

How about the bloodthirster as a dreadnought, or an arco-flagellant made out of a spawn?

I LOVE the bloodletters and Horrors.

The burst cannons, and catachan arms really make them. Neither looks out of place, and fit the theme perfectly.

@Everyone

Thanks for the props. It's a really fun army to build and play.

@Good Green

I had thought about a dreadnought but the problem I keep running into is the "Flying" ability that the Bloodthirster has and how to represent it. Any thoughts on it?
