Eh eh yes. When I will got the time to take a picture of them I will post it. I've not finished the paint yet on my own figs but my army have three color (almost all of them, I got two tank unpainted I think).

I also made some conversion on my chimera to make them look like gorgon...

Apologies for the long overdue update. As a disclaimer, I've been working 70+ hours a week and moving to a new appartment. Progress however was made, from the renegades point of view still.

I received a lot of FW stuff, mostly torsos. And got my hands on a lot of second hand IG troopers which are spending some time under the knife as we speak.

I also got to play a 3000 points apocalypse battle ( using the IG codex, not the renegades rules sadly... ) But the only pictures I have are trapped in my cellphone. Until I can get them out, let me just say I will play a lot more of them big games!

Last post ( way back then, you know ) I talked about the dreaded mystery box. I can now unveil it's content anddiappoint you all: Vraks Scenery WIP The terrain is still WIP as I'm waiting on a lot of supply to arrive before I get seriously to work.

These tanks I got for dirt cheap and were already so destroyed, I didn't have to do much to get them o the wrecked status. The basilisk will be renegades color, and the LR Krieg colours. If anyone wants to send old tanks, I still need at least 2 more wrecked LRBT

Small update again ( I'm still working insane hours, and I'm painting models for a 10,000 points vs 10,000 points apoc game against another buddy of mine. My 10,000 is gonna be fully painted, and features 5LRs and a bunch of Chaos Lords. Hell yeah! )

Update, Part 1:

Krieg vs. Renegades, off-season game if you will. 1000 points per side, because we played with what we had in the store's shelf at the time )

My deployement zone. The Malcador is played with the Leman Russ rules for the sake of this game. My army was: 2 platoons, 1 vet squad, 3 sentinels, a commissar lord, a bunch of lowly commissars, a demolisher and a Leman Russ battle tank. Maybe some HW teams, I forgot.



Krieg's Deployement. The paint pots are objectives. Big ass Rough Rider unit, Lots of Autocanons, 1 Leman Russ. 1 gorgon-like chimea.





Yeah, we weren't kidding. There was some Krieg involved in the project!

@BigBadWolf37: The tanks were already pretty damaged, even renegades don't sink that low in salvaging stuff. I honestly hadn't thought about how to paint the minefields, or to the problem t might 'cause. I guess my plan is Sheer Dumb Luck about it.

Update part 2.



Got myself 1 third of the boards we need. 2 Missions are played in the city, the ones with the Dark Angels. MDF boards, cut in half then spray painted in greyish tones. The road was then hand painted over.

Progress on the other boards is stopped, half in part because of lack in materials, half in part because I'm thinking of changing how I do them.

Update 3.

3,000pts Renegades vs 3,000 pts Orks Apoc Game!

What? Skizo, you sneaky bastard, you have 3,000 points of the renegades man and you can't even update your blog thing? Yeah I know. Shame on me.

Ok Ok. So I was out drinking till 3 am at a friends bar, Tony the Ork player was dong much the same, albeit at a different club. He shows up on a saturday morning, still drunk, for a ten am apoc game, and his opponent doesn't show up. So whatever, I have my army in the backstore, I'm hungover like most saturday mornings... LET'S APOCALYPSE THIS OUT!



Please bear in mind that there are 45 lootas in theese buildings. The ork list was roughly: Stompa, Mega Dread, Nobs Bikers, 45 Lootas, bunch of trukk boyz.


My deployement Zone, Short side of the table. Yeah I know, my half-built chimera sucks.


His 1st Turn shooting. 45 Lootas, ze Mega Dakka gatling gun and some rockets from the stompa: 10 Dudes, 4 HW squads. Yeah!

By his 3rd turn, the nobz had taken quite a few hits. Operation Meat-Shield in progress around the Shadowsword.


MY poor attempt at capturing objectives. The game ended with 2 Objectives for the Orks, 1 for the renegades. It was really cool, ven though I dodn't manage to bring down the stompa.

I really like the long tracked tank.

Moving all the guardsmen and orks must have been fun.

This is awesome, where do you get all the cash for this stuff? You must live in a castle made out of money.

The main reason I update is that my store is holding a tournament in the following weeks, so I'll get work done on my 2 Vraks tables ( the city one and the Brown one ) and I thought I could share progress with you.

We had another game a couple weeks ago, I just found the pictures so here they are:



My deployement. 3 Objectives on the board, represented by little red daemons. My list was pretty wacky, but super fun. PLayed Chenkov and 50 COnscripts, a 3 LRBT squad led by Tank Ace Pask, and the malcador.

Frank played the Macharius, couple Leman Russ.



The Small sized gorgons are chimeras.

IIRC, the game ended in a draw. The main moment of the game was on the last turn, where Chenkov alone was holding the Landing PLatform versus the Kriegsmen.




Needless to say he failed.

Upcoming, work on the brown table pictured above, and buildings for the city-fight theme one from a couple posts back.

@ Night Stalker: I don't live in a castle of money, most of the GW IGs I buy are second hand stuff that gets simplegreen treatement. Saving a lot on the IG stuff means I can purchase resin stuff. Also, ordering bulk from FW saves on shipping and splitting costs sames money in the long run.

Looks like it was a great game! I really like everything you are doing so far, you never see many renegade armies around but I am sure your blog will make a fair amound consider collecting one!
