I had lost the axe to the tech priest (I think it fell off in the FLGS and I didn't notice) and the torso melted in a soldering iron incident, which I won't go into right now. So I kept him in case I ever needed some mechanicalular legs. And then I saw straken's mini...
20 minutes and some hacksaw action later, Straken had some new legs.

I have to say that I am not at all a fan of Ultramarines, something about the upside down Omega to make a U for Ultra, and the color of that blue bugs me.
Moving foreward, what I just said about the boys in blue does not at all apply to yours. Your models are simply stunning in a way that words cannot describe, especially the dread. Simply stunning.

1st Company Captain: Carmine Utio of the Marines Reprisal chapter (DIY).
The base Model is from one of the Veterens MKI/MKII blisters. The backpack is from the Dark Angels Vet Upgrade, only I chopped off the sword. The vents are also from the DA vet upgrade, i just swapped them from different backpacks.

These are the classiest and most dapper Guard I've ever seen. I especially like the kitbashed Guardsmen - but why oh why are these models not based? It breaks my heart to see such good paintjobs standing on such bland, black bases.

sorry to thread necromance but Cypher871 do you have any guides or stuff on how you made those walkers as i am doing a raven guard army and having a whirlwind or predator like that would suit the fluff for me so much more, as i am reluctant to drop a tank into my list
