Of course, they're all out of production, as Black Tree's license expired years ago... What they're still selling is supposedly just old stock.

Well Kudos to the companies providing minis of the Good Doc, even if they may not have the license to do so. With any luck we'll see some new sculpts of older docs and companions as well. Now, where is the TARDIS?

Nice, very nice. I had found some paper minis of all the Doctors and lots of Aliens while one day searching for miniatures. Included was a 1/28 scale paper model of the TARDIS. If I can find the link I'll post it as I don't want to put up someone else's work w/o knowing if they're cool with such a thing.

Very variable. The personalities were generally good, but some of the aliens and supporting characters were a bit dodgy. The biggest disappointment has to be the UNIT soldiers who had very poor facial sculpts.

I will definately be getting all these figures to compliment the Harlequin range. Here are my figures, please excuse any poor painting, I painted them aged about 15.

Here's a good site and blog for painted figures, and if you're interested in Blakes 7 the related site in the third link has a few suspiciously useful SF figures for sale.

Heresy previewed this earlier this afternoon. It's another Steve Buddle sculpt, like the last Nerd lord.

Can't say I'm a fan of that one. It's ok from the shoulders down, but the face is too broad and flat (and will be moreso once cast), and she appears to have a footballer's nose.

A little bizarre given Steve Buddle's usual female faces...

The design of the Metropolitan Police Box belongs to the Metropolitan Police. The trademark of the TARDIS with its characteristic design belongs to the BBC.

Generally, people do not own copyright in their own faces. Their clothes could probably be considered sufficiently generic not to constitute an original design. So as long as you don't call your Doctor WHo model a Doctor Who model, you can sell it without fear of copyright violation. That's why Heresy sell a Doctor Hugh, and so on.

The Daleks are a different matter since they are clearly a highly original design.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Any way of getting a comparison shot of those ... guys in a row? I wouldn't mind getting them if they are along the same scale.

Aside from feebay, where is that T- box located online to buy?

I really like those Heresy guys, might have to get me some of those Sin City look alikes to go along with the Dr Hugh.

give his some much needed firepower in a sidekick. Either Merv, or the Shaun one. LOL

I must agree - great from the shoulders down, but the face is nowhere near accurate enough - really detracts from the mini.

I offer the following as an example...
