OK well topic has been renamed, i will certainly get to painting some more blood ravens soon however i tend to alot of swapping and changing so i dont get bored.

Also here is some more Blood Raven stuff, the captain in terminator armour i painted ages ago, im very tempted to strip him down, get new lightning claws and start again, the other two are WIPs

Personally, while that Termy cap is done to a pretty good standard, I think you should repaint it. More practice for you to develop your awesome skills and it shows off more of your awesome skills. Also, I don't particularly like that bleached bone type colour on the torso.. but that's down to taste. Can't wait for the two libbys!

Blood ravens use bleached bone as a secondary colour so dont over do it *speaks from experiance*

Its actually gold on the terminator captain however i did paint that like 5 years or ago, i think atleast it shows that my painting has continued to improve atleast. I think what i will do is just strp him, get the file out and sort out his right leg, i might try and see if i can sculpt something abit more interesting on his chest piece. Originally he was going to be my Chapter master however after seeing rolepplayers calgar conversion well i think you can see why he will just be a first company captain


On the lib that bleach bone color will go, i actually bought space hulk 2nd hand on ebay and the models had already been undercoated so thats why that model has so much of it on him.

Before i get to doing some ravens im going to finish my black knight champions so here is another update, i think hes starting to come along rather well, i just need to figure out how to paint the flesh on the horse and what im going to do on the shield, i dont think i will do a skull like before

Well I think im done with these two finally, i know the knight isnt a major update but atleast its finished now

Looking good! But the second model looks a bit.. meh.. The head and body armour just blend into each other and I think they need some defining as seperate things.. or whatever.. As I said, I'm no fantasy expert.

Well to be honest im not a massive fan of the Mantic Wraith models anyways, they lack the detail of the knights, in fairness im more of a fantasy player than 40k however it is nice to have some 40k stuff so i can play a wider range of people and perhaps convert them

Looking good! Although with your painting skills, I think you could make the cloaks/capes better - give them more depth with shading/highlighting. Or maybe it's just the lighting in the image...

Cheers mate, i have to say chaos warrior cloaks are something i hate painting, i have actually already painted 60 of them so to be fair i kinda cut a few corners.

My classic warrior standard bearer arrived today (pretty damn quick!) so here is a WIP of my BSB.

I was at my mums for a few days and i returned today to find some bits had arrived in the post, i was pretty happy! one of them happened to be my Tzeentch Sorcerer so heres a WIP on that
