PP metal models are quite nice to put together, especially when compared to gw metals.

Agreed, they have much fewer 'vent tabs' to clean, less mold lines, and so far the only things I've had to pin are Terminus' wings and sword, and Deathjack's legs. The Deathjack kit also did something I've never seen on a metal model before: metal ball-and-socket joints for the arms. With the powerful superglue I used (Super-T I think it's called) it holds very well, and it surprises me that more metal models don't have this.

Skorne are currently a very strong faction. They focus on being tough, hitting hard, and having good discipline. They don't have some of the sneaky tricks of other factions, but then again they don't need them as much.
Legion are glass cannons. They hit hard, but are fragile. They excel at assassination, which is important because assassination is a win condition for Warmachine and Hordes. Battlebox+Unit+Solo shouldn't set you back too much and it's a solid way to start.

Thanks Da Boss

And I saw one of my mates trying to build a Khador machine (not sure which one it was) and he had to pin it and almost threw it out the window cause it wouldn't stick for him..

Working with metals is a matter of patience or kicker.

Either you put two pieces together and leave them alone for a day, or you use zip-kicker to set the glue faster.

With PP stuff, I have found their infantry models to be a dream to prep for play. Few vent tabs to remove, slight mold lines.
Except the thin armed models. IE, Hawk, Satyxis whips, Revenant Pirates. Pinning on those is horrible.

The Jacks and Beasts are a different story. Clunky, warped and heavy. They need putty, and pins.
You can try to go with just glue, but a year from now, arms will start falling off.

Bam, said the lady!

I use this glue called Super-T. It will hold 2 metal pieces firmly in place after about 25-30 seconds. I hardly need a full day. As to your take on assembling jacks, I can hardly say I have as much experience as you yet, but the few I've put together had no warping and (other than Deathjack's legs) needed no pinning. I'll let you know in a year if they start falling apart, but I think not. Maybe you should try using the glue I use?

I get away with using Zap-a-Gap, it's cheap and effective.

So far, I've assembled 3 battlegroups and I haven't had a model break on my yet (Except my friend's Menoth, but that's due to his mini-transport method...)

My "secret" if any, is using another model to hold the drying model in place. Even difficult models like Scrapjack weren't too bad.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

I just got my friend a Legion army (yeah, that's how I roll), and whoo boy do those things excel at assassination! Even the battlebox is strong for that. He just sent those four shredders tearing past my jacks, not caring I knocked a couple down and the ate my warcaster. First time playing against Legion and I did not expect that!

On the construction side I have yet to have a problem, although I'm mainly putting together Cygnar which is easy as pie.
