Wow, so much Witch Hunter hate? And a lot of it based on faith point confusion? Well...the codex is free now.. But really, hating an army for not bothering to read on how they work is silly.

Anyways, my most hated army is...Space Marines. But not because of broken rules, or even the silly Blood Angels fluff in their codex. It's them having 5 codexes, all getting update time before armies like Dark Eldar or Witch Hunters.

I'm fine with Space Marines, even when they get over the top. In fact, I might like them more if they became closer to lore. Make them like Ogre Kingdoms in Fantasy, massive beasts of tactical destruction, more than one wound, all that jazz, etc. But, just one codex please. We could have a yearly SPHESS MAHREEN EXTRAVAGANZA! Where lore can get updated, new models, whatever. There, all the fanbois can swoon over Sphess Mahreen awesome-ness while the other armies get the rest of the year to get updated, new models, etc.

Yeah, and one big Space Marine book every 3-4 year or whatever where ALL Space Marines are covered. I might start a thread with my dream Space Marine codex...

And finally, they have the equivalent of flying Terminators. Complete with wrist-mounted bolters with an assault profile. That can DS with 1d6 scatter. Or not at all with Dante. Also, Baal predators... really? Fast predators? Come on now. They've been fast for the last two codexes, keep up. Why haven't the =I= stomped the living gak out of these guys already? because then they'd have to kack the space werewolves and 8000 strong templars too

Back on topic, I hate Dark Eldar. Partially because the models are crap, partially because they get an inordinate amount of weapon options and combat drugs, but mostly because Their fluff paints them as a faction that doesn't really matter. They will never conquer a planet, never invade anyone; all they do is show up, take some prisoners and leave...Whoopity doo! No one cares.

And I second the comment about the daemon army not making any sense.

Mother of god... I could fill this forum with my complaints on the last two SM codexes.

*I don't blame anyone for not knowing the Faith rules. I've met people who have been playing this game since 2e and have never seen a Sister of Battle on the table. It would be unfair to expect people to keep track of rules so rarely encountered.

I will not allow anime fanbois to ruin my army of choice! They were not kawaii until some idiot on the internet made them so, and Farsight is evidence that they can be plenty grimdark!

I voted for BA. While I don't have a problem with the general idea behind BA, tragic marines with a genetic flaw and forever haunted by their primarch death, I do have an issue with current Matt Ward uber crazy Blood Angels.

I'm taking about crazy stuff like Deepstriking landraiders, Mephiston’s current abilities (giving him no inv save and making him a 1 man unit is not an intelligent way to balance him), blood talons and Reclusiarch death company (allows to hit and to wound to be re-rolled). Its stuff like this that makes the book seem more like a Fanboy codex than a GW codex, codex creep taken into account.

I just hate the IG, it's not the army's fault just how everyone plays mech IG is boring.

IDK why people are hating on the DE. They're probably one of my favorite armies. They're probably the most believable army in the game. They have a bunch of tech and they choose to use it to do what ever and take what/whoever they want! Their masochism makes them really cool/scary to me. Also, I personally like most of their models.

I put in my vote for BA's for these very reasons. Matt Ward needs to have a spiked ping pong paddle taken to his squishy bits for this codex creep lunacy. However, upon further reflection, I agree with the person who mentioned Demons. First of all, there is just no need to have armies mirroring everything in Fantasy. Second, by removing them from my CSM army I lost a great deal of flavor, flexibility, and FUN from my list. I am reduced to being basically regular marines, but without all the big guns and cool vehicles.

I have a wierd relationship with nids, I'm great with them, just dont like them though.

I dislike 'crons.

I think that guard are a bit out of place, and while i dont mind them as opponents and the rest, their battle cannons on the leman russ with str 8 large blast, when, lets face it, their tanks are little more than spazdicated versions of the nowaday ones, save a ridiculosly wide barrel.

But i like the guardsmen.

Where to start!...

I think I dislike Space Wolves the most. Their chapter colour is boring and ugly, they are all covered in wolf tails... which is not only cruel but also makes them hard to convert to a good chapter. But mostly I hate them because Games Workshop seems to love them even more than they love Ultramarines. Which they prove every edition by making them totally better than vanilla marines for less points.

Other Armies I'm not keen on...

I loved the idea of Dark Eldar... but in the end I thought GW made them and their technology kind of ugly.

I'm also not keen on necrons because I don't like the whole undead egyptian theme... when it could so easily be John Conner Terminator theme...

I dislike IG a little too because they kind of replaced what squats should have been, and then squats got killed off... and I like Squats :(

A dislike De because of the poor looking models in their model range. And I dont like Power Rangers because of thier rainbow colours and the fact everyone uses them.

Honestly, Necrons are perhaps the most pointless race. They had advanced stasis technology, the ability to commune with gods... but they couldn't cure cancer? Seriously?! Not only do i hate the fluff, but the total lack of imagination in their models is pretty horrific as well...

I also hate how the Dark Eldar are portrayed, they never seem to do anything beyond slave raids... hopefully this will change with the nex codex (if it's ever released)

Cancer? I thought the necrons souls were imprisoned in thier metal bodies to serve the C'tan as slaves so they could feed them souls of the living.

Whatever Mellissia says, neither of them really have any business being a separate army. I could see them being an add-on to IG/SM, but not a separate army.

I wish I didn't hate them. I love the idea, I enjoy the model direction thus far, but the fluff paints them as being super-duper schemers who are behind everything without really doing anything. And their current codex is, to be frank, goddamn idiotic.

Nids frustrate the heck out of me, but that is probably because I'm consistently out-played by the nid players at my local store .

BTW, I've seen several people comment that Mech IG is boring to play...why is that? I ask because I'm thinking of taking my IG force in that direction.

The one I hate... eldar. Its just recently but all of the eldar players at my store have really cheap armies and tactics. They also cheat allot. It’s not so much the armies as it is the players that go to my store that play them.

Blood angels.........feckin gak.....worst army ever. the massive hype about them bugged the hell outta me, space marines are an ok army, only cuz some of the models are good to paint and scouts are prety cool lookin.
