3 slots left to fill and neither Gornall nor Brother S have picked up their pre-in slots (booo!). I sent out some other PMs to a few other awesome players (well, at least players that amuse me

), so hopefully a few of them will want to join up. My hope is to get the game up and going within the week.

Always glad to have one of the original crew on board, Orkeo. The game probably won't be starting till the weekend at the earliest, so your computer issue is no problem, you're on the list.

One more open slot - once it is filled I'll probably open up the Gornall and Brother Stynier slots.

Actually, I realized just now I never PMed BrotherStynier (dorf!) so I'll PM him right now and leave his slot open longer. Gornall hasn't posted on site in about a month so I'll presume he has other complications distracting him right now and his slow will be open for other players as soon as the last empty one is filled.

Gornall's pre-in slot is now open for whomever wants to try to claim it. Stynier's will be held in reserve a bit longer before I toss it out to the wolves as well.

Sent out some more PMs to good players (albeit players who've been quiet for a while). Definitely looking to fill the last open spots sooner rather then later. I happily encourage the rest of you to PM any users on site you think might enjoy the game, as I'm probably more willing to have a few new faces if it means filling the slots more efficiently.

I've also already figured out each slots role and will probably start sending them out shortly as part of the pre-game.

Pre-game, you ask? Yes indeed - certain factions/roles have abilities that begin shortly before the game officially opens. ::insert ominous music here::

Could I join. It would be my first ever 'Genestealer Game' but I have played the Werewolf game with my friends before (several times).

oddly enough, the only people on that game list I haven't already PMed were Arctik and Valhallan, but I'll give them a go as well. Good idea.

@Gathering Storm - Werewolf and Genestealer are just different names for the same game, really. Have you played it in a forum format before? It can be a little time intensive if you aren't ready for it. As long as you're comfortable with that aspect I'm definitely down with letting you play.

I've only played it real time and turn based (normally 15-30 mins to disscuss who to lynch).

Our turns will be 2 weeks in maximum duration with a 48 hour night phase, so the game will take probably a little over a month depending on how often everyone feels a need to go to deadline every time. If that doesn't worry you then you should be fine, but it is a slower playstyle then you'll be used to.

That's fine, i prefer having more time to think about who to lynch, I always prefered real time games to turn based so up to two weeks per day is fine by me.

Count me in. I've been off Dakka for a bit, moving around, but settled down again now. Would love to be involved.

Whew, and that is a finalized player list. Had a bit of confusion on my end so I ended up adding in one more slot, but I rechecked things and I'm pretty sure it leaves everything still balanced (if anything it favors the Wolves, and since no game I've run has yet had the 'good' side win, maybe it's just as well if I err on the side of caution slightly).

All role PMs have been sent, if you're on the final players list and haven't received a PM then please check with me.

Expect the game thread to open up either late Sunday or early Monday - so any of you with pre-game abilities that's all the remaining time you'll have to use them.
