Yeah I am hoping. I have so much to paint to get this tank Battalion (in the making) set...I am hoping that I can use them in a few games against big cats to see how they do. I also like the look, minus the side skirts. SO well see.
thanks for the input

I was looking over mid-war monsters again and realized that i was more referring to the elusive T-14 assault tank. I like the shape and the armor on them is dang near that of the tiger and panther, its a little under gunned...but hey you can now go toe to toe with big cats and might just tank yourself away...

Your army made me listen to this, and you should too! I'm working on my fallschirmjagers, only have one box now, but I got 600 points out of it. Going to pick up another soon, and will post pics when my paint set comes in.

Thanks man that was pretty freakin cool, I am in the middle of finishing some more pieces but out here working so not much time right now to paint. I like the Fallschrimjagers, they have some good list. I have a force already for hell's highway ....late war. What period are you building your toward? I know they are flexible but they can get ugly. Remember to get some good support units.

Doing late war, but they're pretty flexible for mid too I believe. I definitely need support, gotta do some research and the like before purchasing though, aside from some MG teams and maybe pioneers.
i found out as with my tank co here, you need a lot of anti-infantry and some arty. OTHERWISE you get into some sticky situations. I like tanks but they need to be supported by good units. Fallschirmjagers are good infantry throw in some good armor and arty and you will have a devastating list.

So tryue my good man, so true. I have lost my fair share of tanks to the humbel G.I, not fun
I have also learned that sometimes with tanks the only clear path is straight ahead...full speed and in mass. I used this to actually dig Vet. Fallschirmjagers from a building. I made my own door. Yes, I lost some tanks, but damn them I won.

Nothing says "charge" like the roar of artillery as your tanks thunder across the battlefield...and what better way to keep that barrage a rollin, than to add some M7 priest to your line up...here is the completed 105 MM arty battery minus a rifle team. I am almost done with my M7 priest section so that is good news. I hope you enjoy the pics.
well ere we are again, got 4 more M5 Stewart light tanks to begin my most evil plan. I am going to try fielding a light tank co, and see hows she does in midwar...more tanks , more money. I am going to use my other elements to flesh them out. I think there great skirmishers. WHEN I am finally home and playing again should be a great time.

well not much in the way of painting lately, but the flames of war march on...I have purchased several complete armies on line so I can play when I get home. I am going to spend some severe time making sure that this army is finished and painted to the level I feel it deserves. I am also happy to report I was notified as winning the Battle foam picture contest, so don't be surprised to see me next month on the Home page. I have been playing small skirmish games with the "Doc" here at our Camp....so as to get those rules down pat. The US Tank Co. as so much flexibility as to make it a great force to play. I am always looking for ways to tweak, and bend the list to what works for my style of play. Love those 4.2 Mortars. I am also such a huge fan of M5 Stewart tanks and their ability to harass and out maneuver other units, while still being able to strike fast and hard.
for those new to the game holidays is great time to pick some great deals on Ebay, or E-crack as I call it.

No that is just the lighting and the I washed them to get the oil of the resin and they dried that color. I also made little pintle mounts out of brass wire to get the .50 Cal in the position so I could pose them in that way
