yeah,
Awesome Spider has been struggling with the rain washing away his web.

He's also caught Detective Murtaugh red handed poking holes in it! Awesome Spider is sick of these retiring police detectives trying to defuse his web... He's too old for this gak!

I was afraid this would happen you're excited cause you saw awesome spider in person, but you're scared that he'll catch you in his web and suck your bodily fluids out your body.

The good news is that human humility is so great, we not only have the ability to know and appreciate that things existed 5 billion years before us on this planet, but also that we can one day create the technology to end that distinction in one violent fit of human humility.

Johnny The Homicidal Maniac. At least it''s reference to it. Whether or not it was intended is a different matter.
Squee is a character who says Squeeeeeee! when he's scared (which is all the time)
He's also in "Squeee!" spin off

Aha, I see what you did there Flaming_Spider!

But no, Awesome Spider needs to be preserved for as long as possible. Thus, I propose that if/when Awesome Spider dies, his/her body be preserved and only then made into a wicked sweet warp spider or other figure befitting one such as (she?).

Take on match stick.

Light it.

Then light ciggie.

Put out matchstick.

Whittle end to a fine point.

Load into an Air Rifle afore the Pellet.

Fire at offending spider.

I actually was really interested in the mummifying of the spider in resin idea, and I'm sure it could be done.

Stab him in his cranium with a sharp knife, and hold it there so he doesn't rip his head off or anything.

Dip in resin, let dry....it just might work.
