I Like the blue too, my craftworld eldar were a similar colour. I tried to customise the aspect colours too but got stumped when it came to fire dragons. Yours are really inspirational, and if I dig the eldar out of storage I reckon I'd have to copy them. I'll vote for the white on the fire-prism turret as the contrast looks really good in the other models.

You want a tip? Try first painting it with Astro Grey, they Tentacle Pink, the you start layering the pink and add some white each time.

Ok, do you mean everything on the turret including the cannon and all that? Because I have already painted these parts white:

I think I'd rather have just some other parts on the turret white, not sure here though... Does anyone else have opinions of the turret?

@fatty - No problems, happy to help.
@sum1thtdiesalot - Yeah, that is frankly what I am leaning towards too.

Here is something for diversion: a WIP scratchbuilt warlock.

Thank you very much! He's probably just getting a Witchblade, I dreamt once that I got a box sent to me which contained several unexisting eldar models, including this one. So I'm making it, and may also cast it. Here's pretty much how I think the pose should be:

It is in fact a school project.

On a different note, I have come up with a scheme that will prevent me from having too many unpainted models. Every second time I finish a squad/tank/MQ completely, I am allowed to buy something for the same army as an award. So when I have painted the Fire Prism and finished the Fire Dragons, I will allow myself to buy a Wraithlord. This is something I frankly think would be good for more people than me... I know far too well about buying on impulse...

Cuddle a bunny... I can't see what that will accomplish really, but ok.

Argh! I am angry, my father took the camera with him on his trip to Argentina, so I can't take pics of either my finished Fire Prism or how my Warlock is progressing. Both looks very nice, I can tell you!

edit: I noticed I wrote phone instead of camera... But apparently nobody else saw that.

I have started working on the left arm. I drilled a hole and glued in a bit of steel wire, then started sculpting the arm. Just thought it wouldn't be that interesting as I didn't have any pictures.
As I have finished my Prism and are nearly done with my Fire Dragons, I will soon be allowed to buy something for the army. What would you say I hould buy? A Wave Serpent, Wraithlord or War Walker?

Wraithlord it is then. Either with sword in one hand and some weapon in the other pointing towards the enemy, or maybe preparing to slash an enemy. I suppose I should magnetize it. I already have ideas of how to paint it, I think I will basecoat it white, actually...

Played a game today, btw. Won over the orks, mostly thanks to Artemis (whom I used Eldrad's rules for) who blew up Zogworts head, guided the bladestorming DA's and doomed the nobz. The prism, on the other hand, would only stun some stupid Killa kanz...

nice too hear you won.

only a sugestion but why dont you make something of a lance like weapon? you alway see a sword but i think a lance would be much cooler/effective/original. just a thoughed.

That idea did struck me too. I would look cool indeed... Then I'd have an extra wraithsword, so that would enable me to eventually convert a WL with two swords...

If you make a lance then you need to make some sort of mount for him. I suggest a pike or a scythe.

I have now bought the Wraithlord. I am going to give it a EML and probably some weapon that can work both as a bright lance and a Wraithblade, you'll have to wait and see for it (going to Germany tomorrow).
But since I bought the Wraithlord, I should have finished two other things, right..?
I have! Fire Prism!

And the cool (but hot) Fire Dragons!

Your time has come, vehicles!

edit: Actually, I think my Fire Prism here is the first tank I have painted that I am happy with.

That is good to hear, I'll paint the Wraithlord next. Here's some new stuff, I recently bought Gryphonne Sepia which is an awesome wash for Howling Banshees (but it smells ):

Not the best pictures, but still...

Also, feel free to check my gallery - pretty much everything I show here can be seen there too!
