The Wraithlord IS FINISHED! How happy I am!

Here's a picture of its tabard:

And here's a close-up on the blade:

What to do now? Paint a Wave Serpent, maybe?

No wave serpent yet, as I have started a Dark Eldar army. Here is the first unit:

I chose the name Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix for them btw, if you wondered.

@Igandris - The teal is Scaly Green, a very beautiful colour they unfortunately don't produce anymore. I believe it can be made by combining DA green and Regal Blue.

@The Ravening Jaw - Thanks!

Here's a few more Dark Eldar of various kinds - a Dark Lancer, a Scourge and a Trueborn.

Then about my Eldar, I am thinking a little about buying a Revenant Titan, however I'm not sure if it should have Pulsars or Sonic Lances. What do you find the most frightening?

A tiny update - as I am going to a tournament in two weeks, I need to finish up what I have in the list that is still unpainted. So here's the fifth Wraithguard:

I hate to paint these models. I tell you, I am not buying a single Wraithguard until they get a new sculpt.

And heres the guardians scatter laser.

Finally, my two WIP Wave Serpents:

Last night I painted four guardians; here they are along with the first one and a warlock I noticed I haven't shown:

How do they look?

Also, for the tournament I bought a war walker. Will have to fix a second one, however the store only had one. Will see how I do.

(mumbling) Right, they won't be able to ignore this one...

I today started converting my Autarch Ramandhir from Yriel. I was particularly inspired by Tomas David's Autarque (a masterpiece) although I had own ideas too:

It is by no means finished, I am thinking about adding loincloth and some other details.
As the rune of Tonesh-Ian is an eagle, I found that shield quite fitting. Also, him wearing that mask is from his fluff (he was formerly a dark eldar). I am not completely sure what to have on his back, if I should do as David did and use a backpack like this:

or if I should use flags instead (have some in my bit box). Also, I am thinking a bit about green stuffing hair coming out from his helmet, or should I add something else on it instead? I would be happy for comments.

Wow, the detail sculpted onto his chest is quite well done.

I think right now he has quite horizontal lines: the spear follows the flow of his robes and you've positioned his shield in the same manner. The direction of his head points in that same way.

Adding anything too vertical would make him blocky or static. Perhaps a diagonally facing set of flags, or a pair of wings?

Not bad ideas at all, don't think however that he will wear any jumppack, so I suppose the other works better. Perhaps a/a pair of vanes of some sort could work? Similar to those the wraiths have on their backs, just diagonally placed?

Thanks both of you. And I will, Enzephalon.

So what't going on now? I have made more Dark Eldar, like this one:

Which just happens to be really similiar to batmans plane...

Would put up more, but I'm too tired now. See you tomorrow.

Really good looking.

About the Razorwing. Is it worth it in the game?

I can't tell you, as I haven't used it yet (I have only played two 500 pts games with my DE so far) but it seems to be a great infantry killer. Just destroy their transports first...

What more I could add is two more scourges:

And a group of Incubi, only the Klaivex remains to be done:

As you can see they have cloaks just like the trueborn, instead of trophy racks. I painted the Incubi different from the kabalite guys as they belong only to their shrine.

Hell yeah.
Those Incubi are great.
I like the glowing effect of their weapons.

Btw. Are these cloaks green stuff scratch builds?

Nope, the cloaks are from WHFB Phoenix Guards. Thought they'd fit with the theme, so I bought a kit. I will probably use other parts from that kit too, as green fire and green phoenixes are two icons of the Kabal.
Also, nice to hear you like them!

Maybe I have to borrow your idea if I ever field thos guys.

Worth noting on them is just that the fire pattern is modelled on them, might not fit really as well on a pirate-themed force

But nevertheless it's good to know where to get some cloaks from. ^^

Here's the second Trueborn with blaster. First pic is a bit blurry, but I think you should be able to see it relatively well... To fit a bit more with the dark fire theme, I am planning on building a fifth with a houseruled flamer. Will probably be based on a shredder, I think.

And... Gee, what a memory I have. I painted this one several weeks ago.

Yup, I had her painted allright. Here's Sixy Wych (I usually roll crazy for her hydra gauntlets):
