Why would the C'tan even give Necrontyr females feminine skeleton bodies? It would serve absoloutely no purpose whatsoever.

...urrrr... I dunno

I tend not to think "wow, these are obviously male," when I see Necron models as much as I do "wow, these are obviously the undead of 40K."

The thing is, as people have stated, there's no need to try and mark out gender on a skeleton, precisely because it's just that; a skeleton. Furthermore, why give your automatons indications of personality when the vast majority don't have any? It would be a bit of a waste of the ol' living metal.

There probably were 2 genders, but I think it's just so the c'tan didn't have to design two separate necrodermis', and to make spare parts easier to come by...

You know, like how there are male and female LEGO people, but the female LEGO people don't have bosoms or anything...

But I suppose at least LEGO went to the effort of making interchangable wigs, damn lazy star-gods....

Whatever you do, don't put bewbs on your necrons.
Though a quasi-feminine necron lord makes a lick of sense.
still, shame on you if you bewbify it.

Suddenly the image of a necron lord(ess) with hot pink lipstick smeared over its mouth pops into my head.
