I used to play 4th ed. and i used to stay away from dreads. When i started playing 5th edition I though the same rules applied and I refused to take them. Then I read this article from the rule lawyers.

CC dreads seem to be very weak in 6ed. I'd go Reaper autocannon and Missile Launcher. If you're truly dying for AP2 take a plasma cannon, but the reaper autocannon really kicks ass
