That looks awesome. Totally would have gone if I was still living in Cali.

However, I think Siege World still has you beat on points, people, and amount of models(IIRC, they did it on the floor of a Hockey Rink this year).

I agree, after the novelty of playing with half a million points wears off it seems way too crowded to be much fun.

I mean it basically comes down to which side has the most luck shooting fish in a barrel. It would be more interesting if this was played out on a gym floor (or some other large space) where some crafty maneuvering could lead to epic moments.

Ma55ter_fett: Well, Apocalypse (just like 40K) isn't for everybody. I actually fail to see much tactics in 40K, besides obviously more powerful Codexes (and Rules) then others. But in Apocalypse, the "Big Picture" becomes much harder to see sometimes...especially with all the friendly smack talk amongst out group!


tylermenz: LOL! Yeah, i've seen guyz play on large hotel suites, lobbys, etc...I refuse to get on my hands and needs like a child too move that many models, and then have to be VERY careful to not crush your own models or another players!

That's how I always imagined a game of that size would be played. Not that I see much point in it then. SM Chapters run about 75,000 points max (yes, I pointed them out in army builder one very boring day). That's a gak ton of models to deal with.

Could be fun with the right people, but I mean...these would have to be some seriously, crazed, fluff loving, nutjobs (like me ).

So two turns a day... what the hell did peoiple do for the hours they weren't doing anything?
