There is no distinction between the two. 1 Race, 4 Paths.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...

Last time I checked the canon, which isn't too recent, the Eldar where the same race and that each group, the Harlequins, Dark, Craftworld and Exodites all split and followed their own ideals for a society.

Harlequins: ???
Dark: I will take my curse and my vice and through them I will be strong, thus they choose to embrace Chaos by either committing those acts to feed Slannesh someone elses soul or they commit those acts because they embrace slannesh, either way they're well aware that Slannesh loves the S&M Hell.

Craftworld: Stay Straight.

Exodites = Luddites

any cannon source of DE as whole worshipping chaos?
De escaped slaanesh to the webway
they keep eating souls to repenish their own so they dont have to face slaanesh

Dark Eldar are not a chaos faction or a form of it. They gather souls to eat to stay alive longer to put off the inevitable of meeting slaanesh. They do not worship any chaos god.

I think it's funny how there were no specific references to Dark Angels or Black Templars in your Space Marine write-up.

I also think it's kinda ironic that you don't like super soldiers, but play spiky super soldiers. (Hey, I play them too, don't think I'm hating on them).

I figured I got my point across without those two being added in.

As per Spikey Super Soldiers, don't worry, they'll get what's coming to them. But that's all I'm going to say on that.

I was just commenting on the fact that DA and BT are seldom given as "examples of SM cheese." At least, not in the same way that BA, SW, and Codex Marines are typically portrayed.

Mission: Inquisition

Coming in Tenth Place is the Witch Hunters.

Not much to say about the Witch Hunters. To me, they are just kind of here as an army for people who don't want to play just another Marine army but still want the 3+ saves. They do have some cool units, like the Repentia and the Penitent Machines, but other than that, meh. They also tend to draw on other forces to help them, which while fluffy, makes the army incomplete, in my humble opinion. The Faith abilites are cool, and I hope they hold on to those in their next book.

Although, I do feel as though they lack an identity. As I said before, they have to draw upon other forces in order to get any sort of variety in their troop choices. Also, their niche right now is close combat supported by close range fire, but other armies do it just as well, if not better, and have longer ranged guns to boot! Mind you, I have never played against a really good Witch Hunter "Main Army" player, so that may affect my perception on them.

Like I said, not much to say about the Witch Hunters. To me, they are here just to be here in their current form.

No one must care for my list, I can't update it because it won't bump :(

Edit:

...... Odd.

Sorry about the long wait, I kinda got hijacked the last couple of days so I don't have anymore armies done. I'll try to do a two-fer after church tomorrow as a way of making it up.

Why would I?

I've rather consistently stated the army list itself is just sub-par-- good ideas, poor execution with lots of sub-par units or even simply unusable/useless ones. The models are sub-par-- good ideas, but then they decided to make it a fetish item instead of something good. Even some of the fluff is-- I like the concept, but then they're used as a scratching post for the rest of the galaxy, getting their ass kicked by everyone else and rarely getting reports of them actually succeeding in battle.

All things considered, it's a wonder that he didn't rank the army lower.

I should make one of these for my 3,456th post.

Contrary to rumor, I don't pay attention to my post count.

what do you mean by playable races? SM are def a very good race to play in WAAC gamers. I don't know why it is last? I don't like SM that much, but it is def. a very playable race

He is ranking them according to personal likes not competetivness (spelling?). When he says playable races he means races that you are able to play so no squats or feral orks f.e.
