I don't hate marines, just the whiny brats who have the balls to complain that everything for their army has already been released in plastic, so they need to go invent more things to justify a new codex.

Screw that, CSMs can rot, I want my Daemons and Lost and the Damned!

...urrrr... I dunno

I see a need for all of these things with a regard to Chaos. CSM and Lost and the Damned, mostly, though. Well, unless they fix the problem with Slaanesh.

As long as I never have to touch a single "I'm mad at my dad" spiky marine in my life, I'll be fine with it. If I ever have to pick one as an HQ or troops, then feth the codex, I'm not collecting them

Most couldn't care less about the Emprah any more. They've figured out it's much more fun to go around killing people 'cause you want to.
The Black Legion, on the other hand...

But yeah, some crazy mutants and other gribblies would go down a treat. Sigh... I miss mutant armies.

I miss the option to do what we used to be able to do.

The old LaTD list was quite fun and offered a LOT of excellent modeling opportunities.

You could have almost anything you'd want to field - it was... chaotic!

Something that let us get close to that would be appreciated.

Eh, I'd be happy with a Chaos Space Marines update. I'd also like to see Necrons get a review.

And, of course, Dark Angels and Black Templars.

Ive heard several rumors about new necron crap next year. I hope they make that army better....I personally think they severly lack depth, fluff and cool models....does anyone honestly think a tomb spider looks cool? If they did to them what they have done to the DE I will be anticipating their new models with excitement.

that being said, I would like to see the Tau with an updated codex and some new models....they are popular and have plenty of room for possible expansion on their troop choices.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
oh, and Chaos Space Marines for the love of god!!! This army possibly has the most potential of any besides SM, yet they lack troop choices like crazy. I also think they need to add more daemon options for them and make them a little more powerful than just the cannon fodder role they have right now.

Wait what?

Was this sarcastic or something?

C:CSM has the most variety in troops choices out of EVERY SINGLE CODEX IN FIFTH EDITION (the CSM codex has six choices, beating out Chaos Daemons and Tyranids who have five each). And it's not even a fifth edition codex, it's a fourth edition one.

Im sure GW will hold off on new stuff for a long time just to everyone off.

I wouldnt mind some new Eldar stuff. Im not talking about a Codex or re-done army. Just a few new models. Looks like our jetbikes are being re-done after 20(?) years.

I dont mind SM's getting new models but to redo their army like the BA, no thanks. Let GK's get their new Codex and move onto some armies that really need the upgrade as mentioned.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

What? How are DA the pretty marines?

As much as DA should be redone, I think BT will be next SM after GK.

This idea has been debunked a thousand times in dozens of places by every single reliable source of information-- including GW itself on numerous occasions, and yet for some reason people still have this stupid idea stuck in their heads. There's no reason to believe this will happen, because despite common belief GW aren't a bunch of idiots.

I just hope that they don't Mary Sue Tau's fluff even more.I've had enough that Tau are potrayed superior to the Imperium in that Pile of Sh** Andy Hoare's(who contradicts majority of sources) Rouge Trader novels.

Also I think it is stupid if tau are next. The Tau are basically the Imperium of man!
Tau are basically oh look at us our weapons are basically like the imperium but look different! And don't forget our ships suck! The Tau are such a inferer race. I use to love them. But people get false impressions from the codex.

Tau aren't that good. Its hilarious how everyone thinks they are like the eldar. When literally the Tau fleets get owned by the imperium all the time.

The Tau are probably after Grey Knights, Necrons, and Sisters. There HAVE been some rumors that their codex has been started to be worked on, but then, the Sisters codex had work begun on it six months after work was started on the Grey Knights, so eh.

Especially in Kill Team(Battlesuit gets owned by three Astartes bolter shells and their weapons don't cause serious damage to the Marine at t which they are shooting at and there's three of them).Even Tau admit that they will get crushed and they futher display their ignorance when they laugh at the Imperium for believing in Daemons.Tau also say that Imperium has many technologies that are unknown to them.Tau tech isn't certanly better.
I dislike Andy Hoare for taking Age of Sail and Star Trek elements into 40k(and ignores that Imperium also has railguns).

Fair enough, true it would be a stretch but it has interesting possibilities imho. But if it's not going to happen, than it's not going to happen.
I'm still feeling New Daemonhunters though, it'd be refreshing to see more grey knight players

As does a properly led Guard army. Mobility is nice, but when Guard are able to bombard so many acres of land at once just as a matter of course, one's vaunted mobility is going to be tested to the upper limits. At least the Eldar have holofields to help them survive.
