Thanks! I'm finally getting the campaign fleshed out with my friends, it may end up spawning a whole new thread, but I think alot of the concepts will be there. It's still going to be focusing around a Chaos presence in the underhive. Hopefully by next week I can start getting some paint on these guys.

So my friends and I are getting things ready for the campaign and everyone will be starting new gangs to kick it off. Basically we've just been having fun without really creating much of a story and it's been easy to fall into just getting together for beer and pretzels games(with an emphasis on the beer. ) But now its time to get serious with a narrative campaign and central story driving the motives of each faction.
My new force, at least my main playable force, will be an Inquisitor and his warband. I'll also be rounding out the nurgle force from my other thread, although this will be a NPC faction most likely.
I've been gathering the models and bits I need from around the internet for awhile now and finally have enough to get started, although I am still waiting on a few more shipments for bases and other various things.
Anyway, here are two yet-to-be-named henchmen for the Inquisitor. Still need their bases and a few touch ups, but I'm pretty happy with how they've come out.

I seem to miss your updates...glad I caught this one.
The two former vostroyans look good. I like what you've done with the other sniper now! I like the choice of head on the first guy...it really changes the character of the original model.
Will you be painting any of your models?

I definitely plan on painting them. I think I've just been putting off any painting cause on the previous models I can never decide when they're "done" and I'm sure they won't need any changes. This gang will be different as we're going to be pretty strict about the gangs being fully painted for the campaign, so I'll hopefully be knocking out the conversions and the painting for this gang over the next month. I hope to have all the models built by next weekend.

Yeah, it one of the Vostroyan sniper bodies. It's a conversion I had planned out in my head for awhile, just needed the bits to get him put together!

I bought up a bunch of Escher models on ebay awhile back, and I decided I was just going to paint these up and not mess with converting them. I think they are a testament to Jes Goodwin's abilities as a sculptor, as these still hold up to most current models out now, in my opinion.
Anyway, I've started painting as I needed to get over the hump of not having painted a model in over 2 years. I'm not happy with everything. The rusted metal is crap, for example, but I will fix that later. I need to paint the rim of the base as well, and I'm sure I can find a few things other things to touch up here and there. Overall, I'm fairly happy with it, and it's nice to just get something painted after so long.

I've never noticed that model had some weird dangly hair thing until this morning.
I really like the colour scheme. You've gone subtle where most Eshers I see are somewhat brash (which I'm generally not a fan of) .
The grey/green leggings look good...and the leather stockings in black really work well together.
If you've not painted anything in two years you should be proud of yourself, especially the skin tone.
The only thing I think need to go back to is the white on the shotgun, the little (cooling?) holes on the grip need blacking in. And as you said the yourself the rust on these parts needs some improvement.
I'm now really looking forward to more painted stuff. I do love a good painting and modelling blog

Looking really good! I think PDH is right about the (speed? ) holes on the shotgun, but I think your weathering is top notch - especially on her shoulder pad! It's rare to see a non-day glo escher, let alone a really nicely painted one, so I'm looking forward to more of these. Ace!

An Escher that doesn't look like it emerged straight from Hello Kitty Hell! I'm with PDH here, the scheme is the best part of it.
Only one question/suggestion: Did you drill the barrels open?

Chibi - I'd be surprised to find a single stray hair on any Esher girl and I'm sure they all wear matching underwear...but perhaps like reality that's just for the first 6 months of a campaign .

Wow, thanks for all the comments, guys!
As with all my models, I prefer a more subdued color scheme, and typically stay away from very colorful stuff. I think this start back in 2nd edition where everything was a technicolor nightmare. I loved the models, but thought the paint jobs were silly. So I try and paint more realistic. The inspiration for this scheme was from some artwork I saw for a game on XBOX Live Arcade. I can't remember the game, but the girl had white armor with darker cloth underneath and thought it looked pretty cool.
@ Baiyuan - Yeah, I didn't get a clear shot in the pic, but the top barrel is drilled. I always drill barrels. It's as essentially as cleaning mold lines, IMO.
Seriously, thanks for all the comments. You guys ALL have awesome Necromunda/=I=munda forces, and seeing all of your work is a huge inspiration, so I really appreciate the feedback!
In other news, I have 2 juves almost finished. I can hopefully get them posted in the next day or so. Then I'm off to Vegas mid-week next week, so assuming I return alive more updates to follow after that.

I guess I should let everyone know I am actually still among the living. I'm sure at least some of you knew that already since I've been posting elsewhere.
I've been tinkering around with some Goliaths and pit slaves lately, but I think I can get those juves posted up in a bit. They more or less just need the rims of the bases cleaned up. Probably not gonna have time to get more done before our Pimp My Wizard 40k competition, but my model for that thread will be hired gun for this gang, so I'll post the finished piece here once it's done.
@Scarper - I haven't seen that pic before, but it does look cool. My inspiration came in part from some art for an XBLA game that I can't remember the name of.
@Anung Un Rama - Bounty Hunter is based on a Vostroyan Sniper, as is one of the henchman.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Sooo I forgot to take pictures of the juves, and I'm too damn lazy to take more pictures, but I did snap some pics of my pit slave for my Goliath gang. He's more or less done. I got a little lazy on some parts, but overall I'm happy with it.
Sorry for the blurry phone pics.
