I don't see what the problem is. Chaoszilla can work really well if you know what you are doing.

Me too, but people have different opinions based on their experiences and meta.
What works in one place does not for others.
I've seen it wreck face and be wrecked... it's quite the Rock-Paper-Scissor army IMO.

If you really like Khorne a Khorne themed deamon army is very competitive.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Well no, but if 2 armies are built up at the same time that's the way to go. Plus it would be awesome to combine the 2 in an apoc game. There is also the factor that playing a very noncompetitive army like world eaters all of the time can get frustrating so building up a more competitive army first might be a good idea.

Hmm I'd never thought that Khorne Daemons were better/more effective than Khorne World Eaters.... the only person I know who plays daemons plays Slaanesh, and usually other play just play Epidermus+Plaguebearers. Nurgle is very popular among the most annoying kids from what Ive seen at my area (no offence Sanctjud)

khorne demons are probably stronger than khorne marines at the moment.... since the blood thirster is so powerful and almost all the other ones have power weapons. a blood letter with 3 power weapon attacks on the charge is probably going to do more damage than a berserker with 4 non-power weapon attacks, since armor will usually stop more than 1/4 of the incoming attacks. also skarbrand is crazy good. people dont understand how good he is. when I run mixed berserker/demon armies the berserkers become pretty damn lethal with skarbrand backing them up.

Chaoszilla with a "Khorne" flavor works very well. If you're not opposed to mixed chaos, 2 lash demon princes really adds tremendously to the ChaosZilla list, and don't forget to work the Greater Demon in there for more hijinks.
Termicide or obliterators (replacing one defiler) works really well to even out your shooting, if you decide to go that route as well.
Other Khorne friendly builds are just spamming 'zerkers in Rhinos. Add combi-meltas, Kharn, and some shooting from somewhere else in the list, and it will be a very solid list. Seriously, the only things that you will have a hard time destroying without melta will be anything that is AV14 or doesn't have AV10 rear armor. S9 Powerfists take care of walkers fairly well, and if you find that dreads/walkers are still making life difficult for you, a Demon Prince or Greater Demon usually does the trick.
