Well there are so chapters that are so daring like the Mantis warriors or that really awesome undercover space marine chapter which i forget its name but they use Chaos ARmor only because their armor is badly damaged other than that. Nothing else.

Mantis Warriors are on a penitent crusade i doubt they will be doing anything to arouse the suspiscions of anyone who can declare them renegade.

Neither do I. I just heard of a few chapters that do that.
But the 13th company is so badass thats why it is never suspected of hersey. (jk)

If you see a Imperial Marine in Chaos Armour, he is probably an Alpha Legionnaire.

If you see a Chaos Marine in Imperial Armour, he is probably an Alpha Legionnaire.

Therefore, all Space Marines are Alpha Legionnaires and Fightmallet 40million is a trap.

Not all Chaos relics are immediately destroyed- some are reconsecrated or otherwise recovered. Heck, Logan Grimnar's axe of Morkai is a recovered Chaos weapon as are the Gauntlets of Ultramar!

Dunno... unlikely but you could use a variation of it... there is a timeline in the 40k BRB (Pg125) Look for the Abyssal Crusade.
30 Cahoter are sent into the EoT maybe your chapter could have been one of them and has come out of the EoT and has asked for a place in the Imperium and been granted it.

I know the Relictors used (and are for sure still using) chaos weapons and armor. They believed in using chaos to fight itself, however they were declared excommunicate traitoris by the Inquisition and they were last seen headed for the eye of terror.

Prorgramming note, older armor is revered. If the question is partly in service to proffer a marine army consisting of older styles of armor and weaponry then there's no issue whatsover with that.

I came here to say this. My Relictor Sternguard are in (mostly) CSM armor, representing what they scavenged out of need and desire to turn the elements of chaos against themselves.

I am not sure about Logan's axe, but regarding the Gauntlets of Ultramar - that is a lie. The Gauntlets of Ultramar were recovered from the Imperium by a hero of Chaos, but even so they were still an Imperial Relic. When they were stolen back by the Ultramarines they were no more different then then they had been when they last had it, bar the odd spiky bit and the new paint. They were never a Chaos Relic.

Its basically The chaos space marines armour (as in what the models have) I just dont enjoy the whole constantly kill for the sake of killing like I did when I was nine.

Chaos Space Marines aren't really all crazy loons. The nature of Chaos dictates that Chaos followers can fall into any Alignment category. Most of the Chaos Marines have likely been overcome by their emotions, but amongst Legions such as the Word Bearers, Alpha Legion, Night Lords and Thousand Sons (for example) you would find Space Marines that could be perceived as 'Heroes' by an Imperial citizen and only really kill as required. It depends on their ideology, and Legions that have lots of human followers or are smart thinkers are going to have Space Marines that are or act more sympathetic towards the common man. By this means many Chaos Lords would likely be able to empower entire populaces to cast down the shackles of Imperial oppression and enter the light of the Warp Gods. They would be better inspired to do so by Saints and Heroes fighting against the evil Imperial overlords then, say, a member of the World Eater legion that likely does kill for the sake of killing.

Of course, you'd never hear about this a lot, as most of the canon is from an ignorant Imperial viewpoint. But that doesn't stop you from depicting an idealist Chaos Lord that seeks to bring inspiration to the citizens of his enemy so that they too will fight their armies alongside his forces in honour of his glorious name.

Thing is there's alot of khorne marks o my models so what should I do about that.....

Well, if they are a non-World Eater army, there is still hope. Remember that Khorne is powered by honour and pride in battle just as he is powered by mindless murder. Khorne is powered by all aspects of Warfare and bloodshed and even the greatest of heroes contributes to his throne.

A Space Marine that worships Khorne could still be considered a saviour and be blessed by his god for what you and I would consider good deeds. He could inspire millions to take arms against the Imperium and fight for their freedom from oppression, but from Khorne's viewpoint this can be seen as bringing even more into the endless battle of the Warhammer 40k galaxy and orchestrating war on a massive scale. Think Braveheart, except the fight is never-ending and they wear power armour and red war paint.

Seriously! That can work.. Thing is I have Zhufor but the world eater symbols have just been painted over

If it is a problem, you could just remove the detail on the globes and paint the iconography of your Chapter on there.

Ok so this works? Wont interfere with canon?

Yeah Logan killed a chaos champion and nicked his axe then reforged t into the axe we all know and love and fear if applicable
