I'm pretty sure a Space marine would rather go skins than wear chaos armor

Chaos Space Marines sometimes wear Imperial Space Marine armour as disguise. Because they are smarter and better then Imperial Space Marines.

But vice versa? Imperial Space Marines are far too paranoid to don the holy armour of the gods. Only the 13th Company has had the balls to do it so far.

In fairness it's not like the 13th can make thing worse they're already knee deep in chaos so lootig their armour for spare bits isn't gonna change much.

The 13th company repair their armour with chaos armour but if they had a choice i don't think they would

Anything taken by chaos is deemed tainted and is immediately destroyed or quarantined. Chaos marine armor would never be used.

What about daemonhosts, or some of the inquisitions equipment

Some people see the power the arp can grant and think they are strong, or smart, enough to control. Many of these people eventually fall to the chaos powers and are either tainted themselves or destroyed.

In short, it's forbbidden, but some people think the rules don't apply to them.

Well one of my chapters has scavanaged armor from dead chaos marines and use it as their own.

Well there are so chapters that are so daring like the Mantis warriors or that really awesome undercover space marine chapter which i forget its name but they use Chaos ARmor only because their armor is badly damaged other than that. Nothing else.

Well there are so chapters that are so daring like the Mantis warriors or that really awesome undercover space marine chapter which i forget its name but they use Chaos ARmor only because their armor is badly damaged other than that. Nothing else.

Mantis Warriors are on a penitent crusade i doubt they will be doing anything to arouse the suspiscions of anyone who can declare them renegade.
