Does the Raider tray compensate for the flying stand? I assume being 6" foam they are designed for the raider with base attached as raider is TOO wobbly to not glue to the stand.

Yes, the trays are designed to fit the Raiders with their flight stands attached. As you know the new DE vehicles all have spikes and hooks on the underbody and those would break off if stored without the flight bases. The only other way to store them is on their side but that would also damage them if not placed correctly. That is the reason the Battle Foam DE trays are all built at 6" tall to fit the model and the stand.

If i order the 1520 XL am I entitled to get 22 inches worth of custom foam? or do i need to take into account the 1/4 inch per tray when choosing which custom foam trays i want to be included. For instance if i wanted to pack it super tight.

Hi Haroon,

The inside of the 1520 XL measure out to exactly 22". That means that if you filled it with 22" of total foam you would be super tight. So tight that it may rip the foam when you pull it out to use it. We suggest going with 21.5" of foam just to be safe.

This would require you to calculate your foam trays to include the bottoms that all trays have. Each tray has a .25" bottom that needs to be accounted for.

So an example is a 1 inch space marine troop tray actually takes up 1.25 inches inside the bag.

Lastly, remember that no matter the size of tray it always has the same size .25" that needs to be added.

You do get exactly 22" of foam but again, that would make it a very tight fit so we suggest 21.5". The custom loadout does not exclude the fact that trays need their bottoms added to their overall size.

That get calculated and you get exactly 22" with bottoms, not 22" without bottoms, and extra foam above the 22" once the bottoms are added.

This can't be done because it would not fit inside the bag when it was time to ship it.

There are (or have been at least) little 1/16-1/8" or so thick foam pads added in so that you can have a snug fit.

Thanks for making the limited edition black cases. A long time ago when you first released your products myslef and others asked for black. Putting my money down now that you've made them. Would love to see the 6" extra released in black as well.

How long does it usually take to get a confirmation email? Would be a bummer if something went wrong because of a typo.

You do not have to worry. Because of the volume of orders we received it may take a few days for your specific order to get put into our system. As soon as it gets entered you will receive the confirmation email letting you know that your order is in.

As long as you placed it yesterday you will not miss out on the sale and your information will not be lost. I would look for it no later than Monday afternoon.

If your waiting for the confirmation to send in your custom designs just email them in to us using your first and last name that was used when placing the order. Having the order number is better but we can still add your custom designs and load out using your name.

Spend Thursday evening designing my trays and at 12:03am ordered a 720 custom loadout with my name stiched on.
