I've got to admit, and i as guilty as anyone that the Orks and most of the other races don't get the love, respect and attention they deserve. We are Imperial centric.

A KFF is by far the best piece of wargear in the game. It's so good that it's mandatory for an ork army to have at least one in a competative environment.

Pair of Scything Talons reroll all misses to hit and it comes standard on a lot of the MC's

Another vote for KFF. Most aggrivating thing to face for my gunline marines. Worth every point and then some.

Disruption pods annoy the hell out of me. For a mere 5 points you can give a tau vehicle a 4+ save.

Sounds about like that KFF. Except this is for 5 points.

That's what happens when something is nigh useless in a previous edition and then a rules change makes it amazing. In 4th it was almost totally pointless and you never saw it, hence the low cost. In 5th it's mandatory.

That's tough...I'd say lightning claws. A set of them. Re-rolls to all your attacks, plus no armour saves allowed. A gift from the gods I'd say.

Aside from that, I have no idea. My codexii are limited. I'm sure there's something amazing for dreadnoughts or Blood angels that I'm forgetting.

4+ cover save to all vehicles in the Ork fleet moving across the table. Killa-kans with a 4+ save....probably the most useful piece of wargear in 40k, doubling the survivability of literally the entire Ork army.

Have to agree on that, the Kustom Force Field is simply insane. Can't think of any upgrade that comes close to that.

Except for the fact that the Kustom Force Field can, with a little bit of good placement, cover your entire army, including non-vehicles.

Jeez i have spent so much time poring over the newer SM dexes that i completely forgot about my main army!

As a new player (Dark Eldar) I must say that Liquifier Guns, Phantasm Grenade Launchers, and Agonisers are some extreme bang for your buck.

I actually miss this model of power sword, with the slightly rounded blunt end to it.


I am sure you used to get this version of a power sword with the old jump pack assault marines.

Because you'd fill the elite slots with techmarines with orbs

OH! You can get 2 Chaplains for command squads, that's another 4 more bombs! 14 in total! Bring on the smiting!
