This but over 2-3 turns of grinding down (Canoness had a blessed weapon, all the other attacks usually got the save or the Feel No Pain leading to a fair few tied combats or I'd lose by one, but had the Book of St. Lucius) a large Death Company unit with a Librarian. In the end it was one Celestian, with bolter, and the Canoness versing the Librarian and a Death Company guy with a Powerfist. Librarian uses the power to give the Powerfist guy extra attacks and I only managed to take out the Librarian (Canoness went for the Powerfist guy and missed every attack Celestian hit once and took off the last wound ). Powerfist got a 6 for his extra attacks so I think he had something like 5 attacks. All hit, all wound. Celestian takes half and the Canoness takes the other. I manage to pass all the saves, leaving me to win combat by one. As he is fearless the Powerfist guy has to take one save, he rolls a 1 and punches himself.

Another was a Trukk speeding towards my SoB kill team. Veteran Superior shot it dead on with a Bolt Pistol and Immobilised it.

A single Necron lord getting assaulted by a Blood Angle HQ + 3 squads of assault troops. They had FNP as I recall. Lord wipes out one troop and damages the other two. Blood Angles disengage (run away ). Lord is hit by multiple krak missiles and shrugs them off. Lord takes cover behind an immobilized rhino. What the heck, attacks the rhino, oops it blows up . Lord survives the explosion and now has no cover. Again shrugs off multiple krak missle hits. Gets assaulted by the two BA assault squads again. Knocks out a few more and once again they disengage (run away ). BA HQ pulls out a bolt pistol and finally kills the lord . Too bad the tattered remains of his squads were now in rapid fire range of 20 amused Necron warriors .

That is awesome. A Bolt pistol was all they needed.

Ghazzy standing in front of 2 preads, buddy says eat hot plazma!, Ghazzy makes 4x5+ inv saves and eats said preds... Nom Nom! Truck BW in last round tank shocks a 10 mna unit of marines truck of boyz kills said unit takes objective... orkz is the bestest for the win!

i have three Lucky stories! for all three armies!

My Eldar, First game against BA, my Farseer (just a tooled out one) and 10 Dire avengers, get their ride blown up, 1 DA dies, and then i get assualted by the Sanguinor! i win combat in two turns and only loose one more DA! go go Fortune and shimmershields!

Skulltaker and 5 Bloodcrushers get assualted by 60 Ork boyz (3 nobs w power claws as well) and only take one wound! Thats 4 attacks per ork boy (57 ork boyz) for 228 attacks and 4 for each claw for 12 attacks, since i went first i killed 11 boyz outright, so he was down 44 attacks for only 184 hitting on 4's wounding on 5's.....and of course the nobs hitting on 4's wounding on 2's! and i only took one wound!

Space Wolves...My Longfangs + attached Wolf gaurd in termie armour + Cyclone missle launcher get shot up by 2 3 man Crisis suit teams with plasma and missple pods....the fangs die, the WG lives. he passes his test, next turn he gets over to one squad, kraks and stormbolters one dead, then assualts the squad, puts one suit out of its missery and they loose combat, and flee(no bonding knife so the last suit alive runs off the board!), next turn he survives getting shot at again by the other squad, moves over, Kraks and stormbolters the squad, kills two! then assualts it and kills the last!(the tau player was going nuts with the fact my Termie still lived!)

30 hormagaunts assaulting my HQ squad with 2 bodyguards and 2 shield drones.

In the end they caused 15 wounds for me to save against.

I made all the saves, swung back and sweeping advanced the suckers.

Never underestimate the battlesuits str 5, wish it was a friggin power fist sometimes though.
