Airborne Assault. 9 Valkryie/Vendetta in 3 Squadrons can out do most other Fast Attack armies.

Dont know what your talking about there. IG can do tank spam better than anyone else, and thats about it. Orks will outhoard and outplay hoard IG any day.

But even horde IG come with Tanks. That's the thing, horde IG is almost always supplemented by Mech capabilities. And even then, bar adding a warboss most mobs will have difficulty standing up to 50 IG after FRFSRF.

Strakken IS a MC that doesnt have all the bad parts to being an MC. And Elysian Drop Troops fill the DS part pretty well, to say nothing of the IG's ways of dealing with those types of units.

Beat IG back into the Shadows with a stick, they did it with my 'Nids with C:EVERYTHING HAS PREFERED ENEMY, and C: Poisoned Weapons.

I can't wait for C:Blow your tanks/flyers into oblivion instantly.

I won't be starting another new army, so I hope Necrons(and every codex after this for that matter) can topple Cheezeicals from their oh-so-high-'n-mighty throne.

my prediction is that 6th will make Exploding transports ALOT more deadly. prehaps simply rolling for each model. 4+ it DIES, Invuln saves may be taken.


vehicles explode with Str4 on the outside. Vehicles that are hit count as being stunned in addition to any other effects.

The army I dislike the most is the split-off Daemons. Their reliance on mortals to enter the material universe was one of the things that made them interesting, and it was a nice way to differentiate them from their WHFB counterparts. Removing that contributed to the ruin of the CSM codex, and turned the Daemons into a misplaced fantasy army.

Combine that with the stupid-looking plastic Daemon Prince, uniform, unchanging Horrors and Daemonettes that couldn't seduce their way out of a wet paper bag, and you've got a "new" army that was a major step backwards.

+1 to Mukkin about. Seriously, Thunderwolves. Why not? You've got giant wolves. You've got Spess Mehereens. Why not have them Spess boys ride the wolves? It's using their resources. If 'faith points' exist, why not giant wolves?

The Necrons look to be interesting and buglike, but I hope they combine the two inquisition factions for more cheesiness (and less spending).

Blood Angels: Do I really need to go there? Bloodybloodblood, and such. Meph, Dante (Your HQ, he is useless!), FNP/FC bubble, Assault Marines w/ 1 per 5 special weapons, fast vehicles, and DoA. It's just rediculous.

Chaos Daemons/Chaos Space Marines: Why the 2 dexes? They're both so individually boring. Yeah, Dual Lash + Oblits. Yeah, Fatecrusher. Still boring.

Daemonhunters: But I'm an Eternal Warrior!!!

Dark Eldar: Hello Waithlord, meet wounding on 4's.

IG: Need I say more? Melta, Lascannons, and ordnance out the ears. And Marbo is RIGHT BEHIND YOU!

Necrons: I have a hard time hating on Necrons, seeing as how I've never failed to win by Phase Out against them...

Orks: Love the fluff, but the severe lack of ranged anti-tank in Mech (err, I mean 5th) Edition is really starting to bug me. Rockets are prohibitively expensive, and Lootas are still 15 points per model for BS 3, Ld 7, and a 6+ armor save.

Space Marines: Despite the fact that every codex is designed to kill them, there are still more Marine armies than any other. I'm really not too sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Space Wolves: Sure, your Grey Hunters can be cheaper than my Tacticals. 2 Special Weapons is fine too. What's that? Cheaper Devastators who can split fire? Okay. Wait, WHAT? WOLVES RIDING WOLVES???

Tau: Troops in Fast Skimmer Tanks make me cry. Disruption Fields make me weep, and Railguns make me jealous.

Tyranids: Yes, your Hive Tyrant is a more skilled warrior than any Space Marine ever to exist ever. And I'm WS 1? And I 1? Gee, that's cool.

Which Hunters: Bolter Bitches with a fetish for fire and self inflicted punishment? I'd tap that.

And orks kill terminators using acorns as ammo, because they believe they will. Same thing.
