Well, I would suggest that when the time comes, we can all list the contents of our bags we would want to switch. For me, I don't have much use for Fantasy or Xeno stuff, I am hoping for vehicle bits for use in basing and conversion more than anything else... I am good for infantry stuff.

Hopefully the 40k guys and Fantasy guys can help 'perfect' the contents of each other's bags!

I'm pretty sure there was swap thread dedicated to trading from the Warstore bits bags last year. Reading it inspired me to order this year. Do you think it would garner more contributions?

I might be up for a bit of bits trading, but here or a new thread would probably be better for this year than resurrecting last year's thread.

That...was awesome. The bag was great. I got a full sprue of the 8th edition fantasy box set-4 swordmasters, 21 skaven, 3 sea guard, a reaver; a FULL box Kabalite Warriors; 4 fantasy orc warriors; 5 full terminators with shooty weapons; 3 grey knight halberds; a space marine attack box, shoulder pad bitz; 4 grey knight backs; a bunch of eldar weapons; a full Cadian HW team (minus autocannon); 3 wolfguard lightning claws, 2 wolfguard torsos (termie for all WG stuff); sanguinary guard-4 legs, 9 weapons, one front torso, heads; 4 cold one heads and random dark elf arms; 2 bretonian heads; scourge wing (only right); warhawk rider wing (left); and random stuff that I have NO idea what it is, must be orks. Vehicular stuff. And I got the two wargames mini figures too. Man, that was a good haul. Oh, and tons of bases too. Stuff WILL be going up for trade in the swapshop and bartertown. Same name as on here, but if you see something you MUST have, PM me now-we can work out a trade

@ Tom & Devil - I intended to add the list of my 'extra' bits to a list if that gets created. Personally I'm looking for guard, chaos and some SM bits. I don't have a lot of need for fantasy stuff, except maybe some WoC for conversions. When mine arrives I will add my details.

Finally created an account just to discuss how awesome the mondo bag was. Came with:
a complete box of DE warriors, minus the blaster
5 complete SM termi's with 5 sets of lightning claws, 4 fists, 4 chainfists, 1 heavy flamer
3 IG heavy weapon teams, minus the autocannons
a complete IG sentinel, including the autocannon!
3 sets of scourge wings, 2 feathered, 1 bat
5 DE wyches including chain flails
clear template set
almost a complete sanguinary box
SM vehicle upgrade sprues
combi melta, chainfist, power axe from the CSM lord box

That is all of the mostly complete and choice bits, but only accounts for maybe half the bag. Tons of Ork bits, mostly pistons, arms, etc from the deffdread box, some fantasy stuff, mostly dark elf, 6-8 regular marine legs, marine scout bits, some IoB stuff including the HE wizard, lots of random marine torsos and shoulder pads, couple command squad sprues. I'm very impressed with this purchase and will make it an annual gift to myself I think.

Does the site ship to places outside of the US, as in Europe? The bits bag looks a little hit or miss. I mean sure you can find a ton of components that'd be great for conversions, but you'd be bitty peeved if you wound up with a load of tyranid and dark eldar parts if your a guard player (and no-one you know played those armies either). Meh if I can't get one shipped here cheap enough I'd buy one...or three. ^^

Got mine in today. A full box of eldar scourges + about 2 scourges, about 7-8 full terminators with 4 sets of claws, 2 hammers, stormbolter, assault cannon, several SM heavy weapons, some other DE torsos I think, templates (-.-), and a bunch of Warhammer Fantasy stuff I'm not so sure of. Overall, since I'm a 40k player, nothing particularly epic besides the scourges tbh. And the weapon templates was a dirty trick... you talk about filler! Did anyone else get those?

Order one of The Warstore's bits bags and two of the Spikey Bits ones. From reviews it seems as though the Warstore's packaging is larger, but they stick in a lot more sprue, whereas the Spikey Bits ones have a fair amount of fiddly bits floating about the bag. The Warstore's bag includes items from a small range of armies in each bag (the armies varying per bag) and apparently is mostly 40k, whereas the other one seems to be a general mish mash of GW stuff...with little consitancy. Also right now the Spikey Bits bag is 20% off ($19 I think). I'll post what I get in mine when they arrive. ^^

how much was the postage cost on the warstore one if you dont mind me asking ?

My order consited of a few things, which including the bag came to £35 (two Infinity models, five guard heads + ten guard backpacks) and the shipping charge for that was £8. I don't know if that's expensive or not, but the guy that handles it was pretty curtious to talk to. ^^

I dunno if its a help but last year it took like 2 weeks for me to get mine due to about 10 times as many people ordering bags as they had ordered, however it was worth the wait!

if anyone gets them, I am looking for the following, as well as many other things!

2. any predator or razorback sponsons or turrets
3. any sentinal parts
4. anything else admechy or grey knight bitz, or wings/capes/ect

Yeah unfortunately other than the termies, I cant use most of it lol....but its great trade bait, or worst case I will trade it in at adepticon for some other bitz I can use

I received mine earlier this week.

Off the top of my head I got the following:

- Enough torsos and legs to build 10 SM terminators. Heads and arms included for 8 or so. This alone covers my costs.
- 7 Thunder Hammers
- 2xLightening claws.
- 1xStorm Shield.
- 5 Chaos Knight steeds and the legs for the riders.
- Most of a SM Command squad sprue.
- Ton WoC bits.
- Most of a sentinel.
- NOS template set.
A giant pile of unidentified bits that I've just bundled up and traded off.

This was probably the best $70 bucks I've spent on bits ever. Even if you ended up with a "crappy" bag, it would still be worth double the cost. Great deal.
