You've been playing since I was one....
I'm 23, I got my first models about 10 years ago, but never played a game until last January. Now I've become an addict and play every week(if possible), and have been working on two armies.... Now if only I didn't have ADHD and could actually finish painting my two armies....

Jeez....29 here and I've been playing since about 1994. I started right before Dark Millennium came out and maybe a year before Necromunda. Of course, there have been some pretty long streak in there where I haven't thought twice about the game (missed all of 3rd ed, for instance), but I've known how to play this game more than 1/2 my life.
I think it's worth noting, by the way, that the two huge breaks in my war-gaming-life have come because I first discovered (in 1995 or so) and then remembered (around 2005) that Magic: the Gathering is a better game in nearly every way to this one. Still, 40k keeps pulling me back in.

Well i am 22.
This hobby for me is a hobby that stays. It's not a hobby you play for a year and then says quit! As there is so meany angles to this game that you go insane by just thinking of it.
So in 18years time i would prolly still play it deffinetly

I'm 48 and have just played 'bout 2 years. My 14 years old son got me started, and now I play more than he does. (I wanted to start 40k many years ago - but couldn't get my buds to get started) I made a ton of tank models & dioramas when I was a kid so this is a blast.
