Watching a documentary on television today and it mentioned that the average (video) gamer is 30 years of age.

I'm 24.
In my experience the average player is ~18-30.
Which makes it very hard to see why GW caters to, or why people think GW caters to, a 12-14 year old demographic.

I tend to believe that generally older people are on the forums, but there are quite a few younger players out there in the right areas. A friend of mine has a nephew who is 8 and regularly owns everyone at his FLGS with his guard army. He's a good sport too.
