Why does everyone hate Rippers ? The poor little things
(Only 10 points for a base of 9 x Rippers & 15 points for a base of 9 x Sky-Slashers).

10 points for a WS2 creature that dies outside of synapse range, which WILL lose wounds with Ld5.
Skyslashers are even better at moving out of synapse range.

The only way I can think of using them is to run forward and tie up a unit for a turn just to stop them shooting or charging the good stuff in your army.

For actual compulsory troop choices on Nidzilla lists, you'll be limited to only Warriors if you neglect to take any Termagants in you actual list. Tervigons are only troops if you have an equal number of Termagants.

I concur with RxGhost on Rippers. Out of the three Swarm units they're the worst (Scarabs can Turbo-Boost, deepstrike and blow up tanks. Nurglings are invulnerable and have eternal warrior, as well as wounding on a 2+ if Epidemius is fielded).

They're good at ambushing with Toxin sacs. But Hormagaunts can do that job better since they bring WAY more attacks to the table.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
