An Orc & Gobbo GRAND army with 6 (Yes, 6  !!!!) Arachnorocks with arachnorock riding Great Shaymans!!!

yup.
of course you would probably be rocking upwards of 4k before that became possable.
and they are only T6. some Great weapon infantry or a horde of little gribblies would probably wittle one down pretty good.

IDK it has 8 wounds and i've have yet to hear what kind (if any) of save(s) it will have.

What's New mentioned it has a 4+ armor save I believe. If that is true, it's pretty much out of the window if it gets hit by anything remotely strong enough to get a reasonable dice roll (S6 would completely ignore it's save, no?)

True but it comes with a stone thrower that dosen't misfire...
Few things of high streinght have the bodies to wather rock to the head for long. And then theres the fact that on the field many factors can interfere making predictions imossible.

One thing I'm concerned about the Arachnarork is that it's entire weight seems to be supported by two very thin points on it's legs.
