May the the blessings of His Grace the Emperor tumble down upon you like a golden fog. (Only a VERY select few will get this reference. And it's not from 40k. )

I would love a movie about Dragon Age Origins, however considering that the protagonist could be one of 14 different people, I think that all it would do is piss fans off.
We're watching you... scum.

Tali'Zorah: I appreciate what you're doing here, Shepard.
Commander Shepard: Well, I care deeply about the quarian people.
Tali'Zorah: It's good to be back on the Normandy.
Commander Shepard: Let me know if it's too quiet for you to sleep, and I'll find you someplace louder.
Tali'Zorah: Hmm.
Garrus Vakarian: Uh, I was there when you two had your thing, remember? Just get a room and work it out.

They are making a Bioshock Movie. They are just being hush hush about it, because they didn't know where to take it ("Bioshock is about a guy walking around shooting people. That's not a movie, that's a game" -Levine)

Actually most of htem are expansions, so it's not the same thing as a new game. Relic likes to extend the life of their games through expansions when they can.
But I agree, DoW could make a good movie, following the blood ravens through each of the campaigns until the final redemption at the end of Retribution (not posting what exactly I mean, those who have played the first DoW and retribution will know).

I know, right. Human Revolution's trailer looks like a goddamn movie itself.
For me it would be:
System Shock 2
Amnesia (what with all the horrible 'psych horror' movies these days it could work)
Black Ops (The story line is actually pretty good and not ridiculous and just flat out stupid like MW2 and the like)
Kabal of the Void Dominator - now with more purple!
"And the moral of the story is: Appreciate what you've got, because basically, I'm fantastic."

It sure does. They had a new one come out last week I think that was about 7 minutes long. I bet this game has a lot of movies in it.

None. Because they all are, and will forever be, absolutely terrible.
Well I agree with you for the most part, but how could say that about Silent Hill? It is the only one that was actually good, so let's say 99% percent of video game movies are terribad.

I like the Silent Hill games. The film was terrible for most of us that like the games.
Silent Hill terrifies me sometimes. The film was laughable at best.
Odd. I didn't get that from the film. I think you have just been tainted by Uwe Boll so much that you can't respect a good video game film. I feel for you.

You are right then. But whatever right? I liked Skyline and Pandorum as well, so I am probably the least reliable person to comment on a movie being good or not.
EDIT: I take that back. From Wiki:
Advanced screenings of Silent Hill were not given to critics by the distributor, and so no reviews could be printed until after the movie's release.[19] Metacritic's average critic's score is 30 out of 100.[20] Rotten Tomatoes reports a 29% rating on the review aggregator, based on 89 reviews.[21][22]
Their panties always get in a bung whenever they are not given their advanced screening.

What is this I don't even
No. A billion times no. It's so ludicrously stupid that the nicest thing that one can say about it is that it is a parody of a bad story written by a drugged up cold war conspiracy theorist on the walls of his padded cell using his own excrement...

I feel that Oblivion could make a good movie providing they changed a few things from the game. It may just be me who liked the main quest but there is a few good places in the story for the epic battle which 90% of people love. The only problem is that it would be a long movie lol.
Required changes to make it a decent film:
Make it feel like an invasion not jus 1 or 2 mobs loitering at the gates.
Cut out boring fetch and bring back part IE opening the portal to paradise, make it only 1 or 2 items (the great sigil stone and something else.
