how many units of wyches should I include to make the most of the Duke's Contraban rule? For my Army of 1000 I was thinking of 2 Ravagers, 2 Kabalite Warrior squads, and 1 unit of wyches, all of which are mounted in Raiders.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

if you are going to use the Duke I would say use 3 units of wyches at 1000 points. Warriors suck in the duke's list

There doesn't need to be an FAQ. If you read the Grey Knight special rules carefully, the Crucible is pretty weak. It has no effect on vehicles and only picks single models out of squads. While losing your Justicar if you fail a leadership check on Ld9 is certainly annoying, it's nowhere near as good as it could have been, all things considered.

yes move to YMDC forum but clearly the rules for GK are for psykers. The crucible is a Ld test and not related to psykic tests. Even affecting each individual model it is not very powerful but fluffwise it makes sense.

Dark Mechanicus and Renegade Iron Hand Dakka Blog
My Dark Mechanicus P&M Blog. Mostly Modeling as I paint very slowly. Lots of kitbashed conversions of marines and a few guard to make up a renegade Iron Hand chapter and Dark Mechanicus Allies. Bionics++

Hmmm. I may go with a generic Archon and just call him duke then, since I want a Warrior-heavy force.
