Given that I'm basically using the original RT/2E Behemoth paint scheme prior to it being retconned for 4E, I'd be on very shaky ground if I were to object

Excellent work on the carapace.

The whole model is exceptionally well done. Do you have a scale next to a normal fex or Tyrant?

Makes me inspired to finish the mawloc that's been sitting at 3/4ths painted for some months now... :( *sigh* alas... grad school.

The toes are actually the body spikes from a Trygon kit. I pinned them onto the 'stump' left by a Carnifex hoof amputation, and then built 'sausages' of green stuff around the pins (of which about a centimetre was exposed between the claw and the stump), and then sculpted the toes in another layer of GS.

The left foot has a pin going all the way through the claw that's passing over the dino bone, and through that into the base; both legs are bearing the model's weight.

Incredible work! I can tell there is an insane amount of time invested in those chitin plates. I love the colors and the gloss added to the skin to give it that mucus-like appearance. Nice job!

Will have to steal your idea for making feet

Up to now all of my nids have been changed to have feet instead of hooves.

This however has been a constant pain in the arse since ive sculpted all of them from scratch.
May have to do a bitz order at some point.

Also, got any more plans for large beasties?
This is currectly one of the best models ive seen for its size in a nids army.
Would be very interesting to see you do something like this on a bigger scale
