No, haven't read the new one.
Aren't the Grey Knights secretive and controlled by the Inquisition anyway?

edit: grammar.

I thought they were a radical force of marines where the Inquisition summoned daemons, possesed them, and then had them exorcised?

They sure are. They were an attempt to make an even better Daemonhunter. So far its worked out surprisingly, but this herectical practise must backfire at some point right? Right!?

Anyway does codex GK offer alternate paint schemes at all?

Even the other chapter-specific ones usually do. All that silver paint must get dull after a while.

Not really. Unless you want to go with Exorcists...

Looked them up on Lexicanum: made from two different gene-seed? Heresy! Not to mention the actual Heresy. How do they count as Gks? They are their enemies.

Relictors are just as obsessed with using chaos powered guns, swords, and armor, to fight chaos as Grey Knights are obsessed with using Emperor powered guns, swords, and armor to fight chaos. They also go through extensive purity screening by their Librarians to make sure they stay strong against the taint of chaos, just like GK.

They're basically two sides of the same coin.

They're also Excommunicate Traitoris.
Anyways, if you had Daemon-Weapons being counted as Nemesis Weapons and say the various GK superpowers are from their many daemon doodads that would be pretty cool. Plus their illegal standing makes them a good opponent for any army. Good Idea!

Yup.
That's the plan, daemon weapons and force weapons all around. I also plan to use Terminator troops to circumvent the "why do their tactical marines have storm bolters and force weapons".

Just use Daemon them up a it and have them counts as Nemesis Force Weapons w/storm-bolters.

Eh, that's a bit of a stretch for me. Only the elite marines within the Relictors have access to daemon gear, tactical marines would not have it. Though I guess PAGK could be Relictors veterans.

Well there's only 200 of them left so its not like the gear is stretched thin.

Yeah, but they still try to keep daemon weapons to their veterans only. They haven't gone full-chaos, giving tac marines daemonswords all over the place and all that.

I read an article on black templars saying that every chapter should only be 1000 marines strong. The only exception being BT because their numbers are too hard to keep track of with all of the crusading so i imagine that GK will be 1000 strong and maybe 3000 with all theit assets.

King's of war-Elves 2000pts
Dystopian wars-Prussians 2500pts
GK 1750pts

Well that's pretty official. There are 1000 GKs now (always?). And it not a thousand like how other chapters have a 1000 but really have like 1400 marines. The GKs are a real thousand.
