Since the ork numerical system contains only six numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, "lotz") i would guess if your pile is big enough to impress your mek boy, and if you are big enough to smack him around alittle, you could get pretty much anything.

Alternatively you could convert points from the codex into teeth as well if you feel inclined.

Ork ekonomy is surprisingly simple and is based on a few simple rules.

How many teef you got? vs How big are dey?

How big are you? vs How big iz da guy tryin' to scam ya?

How killy iz dat shoota/choppa/slugga/armor?

This is a common misconseption, even though the orkoid numericals are indeed as you named them they use lotz in the same way we use the number 10.
For example the counting you demonstrated would go as follows – lotz and 1, lotz and 2, lotz and 3, lotz and 4, lotz and 5, lotz and lotz...

Im assuming that every teef transaction has a great range of possible value. I also assume that most transactions end in an Ork-y brawl, and whoever won decides the price. more or less.

@ Luke_Prowler, I actualy think there is a reference to the squig meat pie and fungs beer line, cus Im sure i read it somewhere, probably in the ork codex or sumfing.

"everything counts in large amounts ..... especialy Battle cannon rounds and deathstrike missiles"

opponent "hah! take a void bomb from my void raven!" ..... bomb misses, scatters 12" onto Archon in transport..... transport explodes killing Archon..... me "dude, i think that just voided your warranty"

I'm fairly sure they wouldn't actually bother to count them. Just so long as it was a vague amount. Like a big sack of them for a trukk.

I think it depends on which warband you are talking about, a bad moon warband might be selling mega armour for 500 teeth because bad moons can afford it whilst a Goff warband might be selling mega armour for 100 teeth because they don't gain teeth as fast as bad moons.

For example how many would you need to buy some mega armor or a battle wagon?

thanks

Short answer: As many teef as the battlewagon builder has.

When my Ghazghkull needs three battlewagons for a Waaaugh! he doesn't offer teef to the mek building them, he lets the mek keep his own teef in exchange.
