Hello, I was going to write some short storys about my warboss and was wondering how much teef are worth as the codex doesnt say.
For example how many would you need to buy some mega armor or a battle wagon?

thanks

I guess it highly depends on the Mek you would order your bitz from and how loud you are ordering. I don't think there's a general overall orkish currency value for a toof.

You could check out gorkamorka. See how much it costs for a shoota and then guess from there. It's old fluff and stuff but it's something.

generally, the bigger the toof, the more it is worth. You should also note that orks will take any killy looking teef, not just ork ones.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing a fistful of teeth nets you a Shoota.

Essentially this, hence why human teeth are considered worthless in the Ork economy - they're just too small.

Not soo much gorskar.
Ill dig out some fluff later, but it does go on to say that gretchin removed teeth from dead guardsmen.
weather this will help them or not i dont know.

But main factors in value: How big they are and what they come from.
ie: Large squig tooth and a baby squiggoth tooth would be around the same size, but i see the squiggoth tooth being worth alot more as its rare.

Ork kurrency and ekonomik values are dependent on how many teef currently flud the market.

If there are a few teef, then prices will be high. If there is an abundant amount of teef, then there will be relatively lower prices for things, although if some ork mek invents an eyefist, then I bet there will be a greater value placed on wanted items at a higher rate.

Maybe human teeth are like penny coins in Britain, basically the smallest of small change? Either way, they're nowhere near as valuabe as a good orkish tusk.

Dragons, man. DRAGONS.

A good battle wagon is a couple hundred Teef, if I hear correctly, and I'm guessing a set of Mega Armor is maybe a bit more, so try from there.

All depends on the exchange rate; Imperial currency is weak in the down economy, so you'd probably be getting 4.17 - 4.26 teef per Credit, or about 2.10 - 2.23 Throne Gelt. And of course the local markets fluctuate so much. In one system you might just need to scrape together a few bags of rotten human molars for an only slightly rickety trukk; while in another you'd need to be swimming in solid ork canines and incisors just to keep your shoota functional.

And don't even get started on the teef borrowing problem; some poor orks have piled up so much debt they have to take on a second Waagghh!! just to bash enough heads to make the minimum payments. Space Hulks are getting foreclosed on left and right. Many greenskins were mislead by hidden fees and endless paragraphs of small print, and are now stuck with enormous interest rates. Teef just don't grow fast enough, and bone or porcelain counterfeits are driving an alarming trend of inflation. The orkonomy is just a mess.

Between Alpha and Omega, and a little to the left

From what I under stand, one toof is worth a squig meat pie and a cup of fungus beer, and something like a battlewagon or Mega Armor is several large bags full of them (from which I'd assumed have been kicked from several other Ork mouths)

Since all prices are open to negotiation the price of an item can vary greatly depending on multiple factors:
How hard the item was to make/steal, how many/big/rare the teeth in question are, the size difference between buyer and seller, the number and gear of store sequrity personell, the number and armement of the buyer's mates and so on...

Right, you aren't gonna see a warboss charged the same as a common boy.

I almost look at it as a hierarchy like the big mek retains his status as the big mek in the clan because he outfits the clan with weaponry etc... and the warboss's responsibility is to make sure the mek has gubbins to make everything- almost like a unit armorer.

I look at teef trading as in between different clans and or freebooters...

Remember, to laugh at an ork is kind of like laughing at a busload of handicapped kids who are murdering the bus driver...

You only neef one teef for a battle wagon.

Buy a bullet and use it on the poor sod with a battlewagon when his back is turned.
