It's not the height that's a problem, it's the proportions. What does his body look like under that armour, does he have long skinny arms that reach down into the gloves or it he really muscle-bound? Either way he'll have a head the size of a pea perched on that body, it would look ridiculous.
As for the cover, well it's striking certainly but I don't care for all that white space at all. I only flick through WD in the newspaper shop and there's enough white space inside.

Terminator proportions tend to be 'interesting' at best. I think a lot of them would need elbows level with their ears judging by earlier minis...

Space Marines don't care if they look ridiculous because they have been brainwashed and doesn't afraid of anything.

It's not really nerdrage, just pointing out that the basic proportions of the body are incorrect, and by some margin.

Its like when people rag on the Leman Russ or ANY OTHER 40K VEHICLE because it shouldnt be able to work in reality.

I'm sure I read that grey knights are actually 'shorter than the average astartes but far wider at the shoulder and more densely muscled as a result of the terrifying gravity of Titan, their home.'
It was back in the Rogue Trader times this was written, I always liked it as it made them out to be the Wolverines of the space marine races!

I'll have you know I was equally critical of the Blood Angel cover a few issues back!

I don't think the arms go all the way into the glove, more like ending prior to the elbow with electronics measuring his movements and moving the extended suit along with him. That's the only way I see them working, they don't fit into their armor like 117 does, I don't think anyway.
